You just must be accurate and attentive using data of your wallet. Don’t follow suspicious links and don’t log in in such sites, sure. I think it all depends on our precaution. We live in modern world and we should be ready for such things.

The total sum they have stolen is more than $1,2 billion! How to protect yourself from hackers attacks? Are you afraid of this stuff?

Yes, hackers are very hateful. But If you enable 2FA and use gmail for email verification and other safe methods, then I would say that you will be 99.999% safe from hackers. The vast majority of the hacks occur due to the carelessness of the user.
2FA is only used for 2FA security accounts, but if the Ethereum Blockchain walks we will not be able to secure them with 2FA. So I should be careful, you should not click on adult sites. or unknown links.

I guess everyone is afraid of hackers.
Not only in Cryptocurrency world but all over the internet.
To be safe from hackers, hardware wallets are the best and safest option for cryptocurrencies.
It is little expensive but after a while you’ll see the advantages for it.

Yes, I am very afraid of hackers. There are very dangerous hackers who can hack your computer in a variety of ways. So everyone needs to make sure your computer is safe, and don't click on an unknown link sent by anyone. Because if your computer has been hacked, so they can steal all your data, even your COINS the wallet and password, because they can get all the information from your computer. Therefore, always keep your computer secure.

it may not be true or it may be true, but protect your wallet in Offline mode because in offline mode bitcoin or ethereum or other altcoins will not be cracked, that's my opinion  Smiley

Who would ever like his/her account/wallet being hacked by hackers? Leaving him/her an empty wallet as hackers loot it without his/her permissions. So we should always be careful at all times and do all necessary things to keep our accounts/wallets safe from all these hackers. Afterall, security comes within ourselves first.

Here is a thing that most of the time hackers are aiming to take money from the ICO or Altcoin as a company, but not from the people who are buying it, or doing the bounty staff. If hackers are doing their job to usual people- for them is like gambling 50/50% just because they do not know how much money we get.

The tree of computer crimes does not fall down - moreover, it grows year after year. To prevent the consequences of hacker attacks - stealing confidential information and using your computer for sending spam, attacks on other computers, etc., you can use a special application - a firewall in Kaspersky Internet Security and other Kaspersky Lab products. A firewall, or firewall, detects hacking attempts and makes your computer invisible to hackers.

I agree to your point buddy, everyone of us are afraid to be hacked especially our private informations and credentials that we have which serves our funds in our wallets. If we try to compare hackers 10 years ago and today's generation definitely today's generation is much more rampant that can hacked thousands of dollars on different wallets. This kind of people are nothing to do in their life which make as their financial income without any hassle at all. Hopefully all of us here in crypto currency community must aware all the time like to secure our private informations in the safe place.

I'm not worried about hacking, because I did not invest a very large amount of money and keep the coins not on the wallet, but on the exchange

I don't believe that 14% of all bitcoins and ethereums were hacked. Not until I can see a reliable source on this. Everyone don't want to be hacked of course. But for as long as you are responsible enough like back ups on your keys and other security stuffs necessary then you should be good.

Yes, im afraid of it. We all afraid from it because we use technologies which hackers expertise. Maybe my advice for us is be secured. Especially in our account, don't give your password to others and dont log in anywhere if you dont know if you are secured. Example in a shop, you should log in when you are at home and alone.
