Great news,A new law in Russia has been proposed which is aiming to regulate and control the production of cryptocurrencies and digital assets in financial sectors.
The newly proposed legal framework would properly define regulatory requirements for cryptocurrencies, ICO's mining and traiding. The law was also proposed in order to curb or stop illicit and illegal activities that might be contracted with cryptocurrencies.

I fully support the Russian government's policy of regulate production and control of cryptocurrencies. We all await its results and hopefully many countries will follow the steps taken by the Russian government. I am also excited when Germany and France have proposed to discuss the regulation of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in the upcoming G20 summit in Buenos Aires.

Hopefully this is all happening and not just a mere issue.

All governments of the world now actively prepare bills and regulation on a crypt and blockchains. It seems to them that it "some applet somewhere in a cloud" on which it is possible to impose rules of coexistence with the real world. In practice everything is much more interesting:
Bitcoin, and derivative of it – technology a blockchain, were created just to get rid from any intermediaries to whom it is possible to carry banks, the governments, people, anyone. It is p2p of system of level of "the distributed registers" – distributed ledger technology – DLT, and they will not submit to regulyation even if they very much will want. Let's look at things soberly – blockchains depend only on demand of users and support maynerov / validators. Only the second can bring under pressure of the first izmeniye in a code. A code which is the constitution which is faultlessly executed every second the existence. The crypt is money of new generation, the programmable capital, it forces out all these "to you it is impossible to perform this operation because the account is opened in other office" or "we will think now as far as you are good for us". Code it and in Africa a code, and all of us before it are equal, and it works for all of us. I do not want to press in populism, but the crypt really will give much new opportunities which they did not have because of geographical remoteness, lack of communications, a banal vzyatnichestvo and other man-made problems of society earlier.

The governments want to regulate this new market. Equally well horses can try to regulate electric vehicles.

I would not say that this is great news, since we do not know how this will affect all the owners of crypto currency!Usually the settlement of some rules occurs with strict limitations of rights! And if the crypto currency market begins to be regulated, will we be able to continue to make profits in this sphere ?!

The Russian president has ordered the government to enact regulations for the trading of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, ICO and mines in July 2018.
As the state works on legislation, Moiseev emphasizes that the sale of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will be ratified. How long will it take for this new law to be implemented is a matter of time,

Do you think that this is wonderful? I would not be so happy on your site, because you were allowed to use only $ 700 per year for entering the ICO. And the maximum profit that by law you can earn from the invested 700 $ will be $ 8800 per YEAR. Therefore, I advise you to read more carefully.

russia has started to support cryptocurrency currency it's a very good idea. and still many countries that still have not received bitcoin in some parts have received the digital currency.

it may be that all countries have already approved or supported the cryptocurrency market activity and reduced the fraud in the digital currency. because now a lot of dev coins abal-abal the end of the scam carry investors money and do not know how to return our funds are taken away because the state and government of each country still not support the stock market cryptocurrency hopefully its future cryptocurrency in terms of security and the law for this cryptocurrency market

New trends can not be ignored. Governments will in any case have to react in some way to the crypto currency. Someone will consider evil and will fight with it, someone accepts its rules, and someone tries to create regulation tools. These are completely normal processes. The control will be anyway. Even in nature there is nothing that would not be regulated by any rules. And if governments are on the way to regulating the flow of crypto currency, it means that they accept it. All the evil-doers and adepts of the crypto-currency bubble may continue to be angry, but the world has accepted this and will continue to develop.

This is indeed good news as more countries are mandating the law on bitcoin, indicating that the legitimacy of bitcoin is gaining more recognition. This is a very important role for bitcoin. This regulation reduces the number of frauds in Bitcoin and reduces the risk to us.

That would be a good thing for cryptocurrency markets.
While Russia regulates crypto-currencies without mentioning that cryptocurrency is illegal, the encryption of cryptocurrency markets would be better in Russia.

So this is the real news about Russia? There are people who keep on producing false information about Russia will ban bitcoin and other crypto's as well. If this is for real, then it's better than reading news about another country banned bitcoin. As the cryptocurrencies becoming popular each government can't do anything with it's growth. People will keep on investing on it and the government's worry is the illegal trades that will circulate through crypto, this is a good move for Russia.

Of course, I'm hoping for the best but I imagine this can go horribly wrong.

Also, Russia had a lot of problems with corruption before so I'm not too sure about this regulation right now.

This is indeed good news for Cryptocurrency enthusiasts like me as Cryptocurrency investor.
Cryptocurrency regulation is the best thing to protect the investors from fraud and scams because companies couldn't proceed to their ICOs of they don't pass the standards of Cryptocurrency management. This means new ICOs that are having certificates and accreditation would be the best coin to invest and surely will offer high return of investment in just a minimum of time.

Russia is for me the most powerful county in the world and they are open to the newest technologies and innovation like Cryptocurrency and blockchain therefore they are one of the countries that are being friendly to cryptocurrencies.
They are open for the possibilities that will advance their economy through Cryptocurrency and within the past years their citizens and Russian companies were already running their own Cryptocurrencies and today they're growing in numbers so this is the best time to regulate ICOs in order to protect their citizens on investing into scams and fraud.
ICOs that are certified and accredited by Russian government are the best Cryptocurrency to invest so therefore, any ICOs of Russian companies that I'm going to invest in the near future.

Already almost every country has a statement on cryptocurrency, they try to control it and test try blockchain technology.
I think the government has started to analyze and see the good side of cryptocurrency.
Do not get stuck with their speech, they just want to have full access into the decentralized network.

Russian law is not bad and I read that they are even giving the miners 2 years as grace period to adapt.

I hate this kind of regulation. Governments want to make us their bitches so they can impose their useless high percentage taxes on us. Some banks also supporting this like my friend from India told me that he got notice for trading cryptocurrencies and using international exchanges. Even the countries own exchanges are facing withdrawal issues.

I don't think BTC is made to be used by the government. I don't agree that the government should have power by being able to implement policies over BTc since it is a universal resource. If it comes to a point that the government will be able to regulate BTC the universality of it will be compromised.

I've seen some news that gives a lot of explanation regarding a lot of bank in india is trying to halt those bank accounts that related to the crypto trading activity. But we can't do anything as long as the crypto still depends on the centralized exchange site. So many problems in the centralized exchange site. Especially US-based exchange site. But rusia regulation is not very strict like china or the even US.

Great news,A new law in Russia has been proposed which is aiming to regulate and control the production of cryptocurrencies and digital assets in financial sectors.
The newly proposed legal framework would properly define regulatory requirements for cryptocurrencies, ICO's mining and traiding. The law was also proposed in order to curb or stop illicit and illegal activities that might be contracted with cryptocurrencies.

http://bitcoinist.com/russia-plans-to-regulate-production-and-control-of-cryptocurrencies/

Regulation of cryptocurrencies is something that is bound to happen at some point. And I would not deny that there are advantages to this move such as you have mentioned above to stop illegal activities linked with payments made via cryptocurrencies. But let's be honest with ourselves, even today with regulated cash transactions and and bank wiring, there are still illegal transactions made with physical cash. There is still money laundering and all that. I don't think regulation will curb or stop it, but I think it will to some extent slow it down or make it harder for illegal activities to be paid via cryptocurrencies. Let's no forget however, that with regulation comes tax payments, and the joys we are currently experiencing tax free with cryptos will be heavily reduced, and it its the financial institutions and governments who will enjoy these benefits.

Well this is really good news if the countries intend to regulate bitcoin so that it can be implemented properly in their current economic situation but if the real purpose of regulating cryptos is for the government to have the control over cryptos for their own sake I don't think this would be a good idea though it is indeed true that thru regulations illegal activities can be prevented but thru this regulations also officials can manipulate cryptos for illegal activities

Controlling crypto will affect everything in blockchain. People wants to invest in crypto because it is decentralized and it limits tax in Philippines. Making it under control will not be accepted by the investors. That would greatly affects blockchain.

I think Russia has a plan before to create their own coin to be use by their country so this maybe the reason why they are imposing regulations for cryptos . This is not bad actually this would help in the full adaptation of cryptos in the world market I'm just concern about the idea that if they will have regulations it would be easy for them to do anything on cryptos even illegal activites which no one will ever detect.

Good news! I wait for a long time when the Russian government officially recognizes the existence of cryptocommunitie. I read the project of the law: there are no any sufficient restriction. But I think that imposition of taxes will provide legalization of cryptomoney on the whole market (not only cryptomarket).

Regulation of the cryptocurrency is negative. This is bad. According to the official version, they say that they will fight against illegal actions committed with the help of cryptocurrency, but in practice they will simply tighten the nuts and put taxes.
''regulate and control the production of cryptocurrencies and digital assets in financial sectors'' - this is clearly not the interest of people who work with crypto currency!

Actually most of the countries are accepting the bitcoin nowadays but the problem is they are trying to regulate a decentralized technology.
But it is a good thing too, which stops the cryotocurrency usage by terrorist or illegal activists but the con is we have to pay the taxes for using cryotocurrency.
Not yet regulated they are just planning to do,hope to get a good news from Russian ministry.

IMO their only goal is to collect a proper taxes.
Russian law is not bad and I read that they are even giving the miners 2 years as grace period to adapt.
Grace period was made by Belarus president. And not for miners.  Grin

Regulation can damage the development of the crypto currency. If you read the analysis of this law, you probably noticed that it sets limits. For example, limiting the amount that can be invested in ICO. This greatly upset many citizens of Russia.

Cryptocurrencies are decentralized currencies and regulation from the Russian government seems a contradiction. Of course it's a good idea to try to stop illegal activities like money laundering, keeping an eye on exchanges in order to protect the customers. But it always turns out to be for other reasons, governments want to get their share.

These laws apply a lot of limitations and other issues, so I don't think is a good news. I'd prefer to have such regulation as in Belarus, where you don't have to pay any taxes and don't have any limits.

The introduction of such a bill by a State Duma deputy does not at all mean that he will be adopted as a law. Recently, senior officials of this country have clearly stated that the only legitimate crypto currency in Russia can be a centralized cryptorubl. This means that the rest of the crypto currency will be declared illegal. Although the opinion on the crypto currency is changing constantly and as a result, another law can be adopted.

If this is news is good to go with then it will help the cryptocurrency to gain more legitimate by having regulators checking the use of it. With an assurance from a government to regulate it, it will be  build confidence in the use of crypto currencies.

Cryptocurrency is not somthing tha can be easily regulated or controlled, the anonyms nature and the decentreliaztion, makes it impossible or very hard for govermments to actaully track or monitor the transactions, the ICO regulation might get applied but only for the founders and the company itself but not for the actual users, the only way i can see cryptocurrency getting regulated is if govermment actaully leagalized it first, that way users can actaully use it without trying to hide their identites and they will start paying taxes for exchanges made by the govermments it self because it will be more convenient.

This has to really be done, the production of cryptocurrencies are already out of control. There is no denying that more scamming is occuring and regulation is a need now. If this would really happen, it will surely filter those project which are legit nd really has realistic technology.

Regulation may actually help to make bitcoin become secured and established. This would also attract greater number of people because of assurance from the government.

Regulations are needed for cryptocurrency to go to the next level. They will contribute to a healthy growth.

South Korea just installed new regulations to prevent speculative trading and criminal activity (money laundering and tax evasion):

Doesn't regulation mean it will become centralized? I thought the whole point of crypto was for the user to have control over his own transactions without having to use a intermediary such as a bank. Surely the governmental regulation will go through a bank.

If you are making money with crypto currency then definitely you have to pay your taxes even now,if not you will be forced to pay with a fine for the income you have made through online,it is simple as that, the government is not trying to regulate bitcoin but they are trying to regulate the flow of fiat money in and out of it.

The regulation can only be applied to the centralized exchange site of crypto because basically the funds stored in the one place just like a hot wallet that has been managing by the exchange team itself.
Crypto is decentralized caused by they are using a lot of nodes to run the network and validate the transaction.

The regulation will give an impact to the exchange site but i can't say if that will be giving a lot of impact to the personal holders or traders directly.

The government needs more and more money through give the taxes to the crypto.

There are some countries in the entire world now, which crypto currency was being regulated like Japan, China, Korea, and India. And I think this was happening because of the trend of digital or virtual currency I think. But I m not sure if once if becomes regulate it means its centralize.  Huh

whats going to be the use of those laws, these countries have an overblown financial sektor an aging police, people will try to get rid of all of those.

law is meaningless and just created to protect the decadent rusian financial elites that orders the construction of private superyachts with at least 8 swimming pools inside.

these elites corrupt and suck via russias financial system and live like a burden on all they want to continue doing that, and have now created that law, or corrpted the payment channels,

not to mention the construction of the gay financial towers in moscow. london new york frankfurt

these are also going to dissapear....

Yea , we know the way how this regulations will work in Russia . The regulating rules they offer is much more tighter then , for example in Japan or Belarus . Essentially , if those rules would be accepted , Russia will remain on the sidelines of the world's crypto revolution .

It's a real good news. If this news is approved and seen in the mainstream media,  It will have a very positive effect on bitcoin and altcoins
What are you talking about!? There will be no positive impact on the crypto currency! The whole idea and popularity of bitcoin was in anonymous character and decentralization! And if regulation begins, will its advantages remain actual!? Probably not!

Do Russia want to control cryptocurrency in their country? That's not a good news, because many Bitcoin investors will be affected. As a matter of fact, it would be better for us than forbidding the cryptocurrency in their country, the greater the impact it will be if it happens.

With these rules and with its crypto ruble (when it appears) Russia can start many blockchain projects officially, and this news is good only for big dealers that want to raise their business. However, most of people dealing with virtual currency do not feel happy through this information.

Every country should follow the regulatory steps that Russia has taken. It should be taken as a positive sign as governments are actually seeing cryptocurrency as a potential digital assent or currency. New ICOs will come compliant to the international regulations which will attract more investors. Now new and old investors will both join the ICOs and make even bigger ICOs.

If you look at the example of the Regulating crypto system in other countries, nothing positive for investors has come of it! In this regard, only the cost of all coins has decreased! I think in the Russian Federation nothing positive from this, either, is worth waiting for!

How is this good news? The point of crypto is to be unregulated and decentralized and outside of the governments control. People here are sayings it is a good thing, I don't think you understand. Regulation means control. So you all saying you want the goverment in control. Crypto is a tool of liberation how is government control going to help? These so-called illegal activities? Such as what? Buying drugs? SOunds like they just making excuses to control things.

What would all this regulation do to the price of Crypto?

When south korea regulated the price crashed... Cry

Really MANY Russians deal with cryptocurrency. If crypto is regulated in this country it might really affect the prices of many altcoins and BTC as well. Mining there will be also controlled, and some of guys will be ready to get rid of their coins. Thus, when this law is taken, the market can have a great but temporary fall.
