I think you do a lot of work for the French community. Your translations are impeccable and you keep the subjects so up to date that I can rely on your threads. Everything is perfectly relayed!

Why applying it? In what form did you trying to achieved to become a Merit Source?
This is another one perception that got it wrong..
Merit point is to given point to good poster or people that deserved it with your available value.. Not turning it to become a politic about it.
And gain more by telling you are active bla bla and gain a source of it and start abusing it as you now has the power to doing so..
Not that I'd say that you are gonna abuse it.. but it is already abused if this kind of application is posted here without legit and guaranteed reasons.

it's a very good idea to have merit sources in each local section of the Bct forum.
Because if it's not, the merit will be distribute only to people who speak very good english and participate to the main forums.

For the French Forum, Ludbega it's the best choice, he help the communitie and do a lot of good work

I'm relatively apolitical, I leave that to anyone who like talk about that.

I am responding to a request that it would be nice to have local members.

I think I understand that the top rank should co-opt the bottom ranks. So in addition to increasing my local, I'm also thinking about getting to know the active people.

After that, it is not an attempt of putch on my part, nor is it an attempt of monopoly. I'm just applying, and obviously you have no power over me or my proposal. I'm not doing this to gain any advantage, and I'm not going to commit a friendship or insider offence.

if you read the memo about merit this kind of application are totally welcomed. and i think Ludbega is well placed to be elligible. he is active in the french section and make good thread, he is not a spammer.

For me Ludbega is totally in position to be elligible as a french speaking merit creator. As i don't think there is one now.

The point is that the French section is very active and the posts have quality there .Many people there were close from moving up in ranks and feel like with the new system ,they'll have to wait forever now .
I don't know Ludbega well enough but from what I read recently of him ,he does seem apolitical and honest .He doesn't seem like the kind of guy who will give his merits to his buddies ranked the same as him ...but instead will distribute in a honest and fair manner .
Anyway ,the more sources there are ,the better it is for everyone ,not just in this case .

Translations of Altcoins/ICO can't be considered as  "serious posts that haven't receive enough merits". This, are posts you're paid for, and not so hard to translate content from others.
There are a lot of Legendary members that could do the job, not because they are Legendary, but because they are active in the forum since years daily. I am talking about members like Meuh, Zenfr and so on....

 2. Collect TEN posts written in the last couple of months by other people that have not received nearly enough merit for how good they are, and post quotes for them all in a new Meta thread. The point of this is to demonstrate your ability to give out merit usefully.
 3. We will take a look at your history and maybe make you a source.
