I million dollars would secure my family's entire future.
It is a lot of money and as of this writing it valued 52 million pesos in my country Philippines.
When I get this kind of earning through Cryptocurrencies then I would buy large agricultural lands for my children and utilize every square inch of the lands I know that I do not face any problems and troubles in life because I already have a very secure land that could feed and support my family and the children of my childrens.

It is more reasonable to divide into 3 or 4 parts and one of them (parts) to invest in 12-15 coins. Some of these 12-15 should be stable-growing, and the other is more risky.

If I have a one million dollars I will dedicate or invest it to the future of our lives especially for the future of my childrens. The  40% I will deposited in the bank, 30% in real state and 20% in cryptocurrency such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and then other ICO's that will gives a good potential too. I will put 70% in crypto. Out of this 700K USD, 50% of it will be invested in Ethereum. I will put 20% of it in low cap projects like ETHlend, Wabi, and so on. The 30% left will be invested in ICOs, which can be very risky and rewarding at the same time.

However, Having that kind of money though, I really must have some huge business going for me to hit that kind of savings, which means there is every possibility I should always have more money coming for me every single time, so having like 30% or a little bit more in cryptocurrency will not be a bad idea for me.

Apparently, I should be able to risk that, and then diversify mostly in some very good coins with BTC top on the list and then into some very strong project ICOs, and then start going around on vacation.

If you have such an amount, you should decide what you want from this money. If you need stability, I would allocate capital to Projects and Crypto-currencies, some of the funds would be invested in the stock market and in small business.
