Hello
I was lucky to get 8 pieces of XFX - AMD Radeon RX 580 8GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Graphics Card - Black/crimson for 499$ each
I was mining for about a week with this rig with stock settings and got around 17 mh/s
Today i just found a .rom file to flash the bios of these cards and now i got from 17 mh/s to 30.531 mh/s and power consumption to about 30% less. I look at the screen and at kill-a-watt and just look too good to be true. The rig look stable for about 3 hours.
My question is: how long will the gpu last if i mine like that ? i'm afraid they will die in like 2-3 months.
Any experienced miner can help with some advices ? Should i abuse them that much or maybe just a little bit less, like more power consumption maybe ?  Also the fan speed at 70% the temp is 61, before bios flash i think it was more
Thanks in advance!

It will be fine especially if undervolted it should be producing less heat and as you already said it's using less energy so everything is good.

People have old 7xxx series that are many years old and have been running fine in a 24/7 mining capacity. Just keep them cool and they will be happy

Not necessarily. It depends on what the modified BIOS does. If you card overheats, it will get damaged.

Fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful. Just HODL.
