Yes they did the Airdrop, I've received the tokens beginning of October. The snapshot of the ETH blockchain that the Airdrop was based on was taken earlier though, I think already in July. Also I am not sure that you receive it if your ETH are on an exchange (depends on how the exchange handles it).

In any case we can say that the scam is very well done.
It can never be repeated enough not to communicate its private keys on any site or to anyone else.

No, it's not real. The website is different from real OmiseGO, https://omisego.network/. This fake "airdrop" seems to be a massive scam attempt. Received the same e-mail leading to a form where they ask for private keys and even state that "it is safe".

The OMG Airdrop scam has been going on for quite awhile.  There are a couple older threads that talk specifically about this scam.
A couple months ago OMG announced an airdrop that didn't happen for about a month.
The scammers took advantage of that delay and created a very similar looking website to trick people into thinking it was the real one.

If that scam is still around, that means that there are still people falling for it.
Any website that asks for your personal keys is a scam.
Your personal keys are basically like your credit card number, anyone who knows it can take your funds.
Actually, giving out your personal keys is worse than giving out your credit card number.
You might as well lead them straight to your bank and deposit all your money and give it to them.

Wow, that's really a surprise, and, obviously, a scam project. But which data they ask from participators? How could they steal their money?

even if vitalik speak on tv and say give me your private key than you will earn free eth , do not give ! private key is your everything, when you lost it , you lost everything you have in your wallet.
PRİVATE KEY is your KEY its not for public !!

Are you guys trying to sell the coins that you guys get from the airdrops? I don't really see the point in having any of this coin in my wallet.

Damn people! Haven't you learned anything yet from all the horror stories that a lot of people here have already shared about being scammed by malicious sites? Common sense please. Anyone rational enough would clearly be able to differentiate a scam from a legitimate airdrop. And if not, at keast do a little research before you go and dive in. Plus an airdrop asking for a private key clearly is a huge signal to turn a 180 degrees away from it. Be careful guys. Better to be paranoid than lose you hard earned coins/tokens.

I got into a site claiming to be omisego today.. They claim they are issuing the omisego airdrop but when i gave out my eth add, they asked for my private key. I know it was a scam.. Private keys are simply private... If we still have airdrop for omisego.. I would be happy to get some.. My eth add is  0x39eb4cc6aca83daddb5da1c8db7f59695a1fe734
 Thanks
