FAKE ICOs Bounties. What to do?

I am a newbie just trying to grow on this platform. Within a week of participating in altcoin bounties, 2 bounties I participated in have been reported as Scammers. I get a lot of reads on my articles and Social media pages. I cannot keep encouraging people to invest in these altcoins if they would eventually get scammed. How can new bounty hunters like myself differentiate between a genuine bounty and scammers bounty?

If you're involved in these fake bounty threads, you don't have any way to get anything.
You can choose an excellent bounty manager, which generally does not happen, and avoid the level of the bounty manager only  JR member and member.

if I see a bounty scam or not it from the bounty manager, first if the rank of newbie is me manager i a bounty deserved to be beware not dodge but we must be more thorough by looking at his website or social media if the date of its making is still 1 week then we must also be vigilant, sometimes not only that if in his thread the manager bounty less active we also must be vigilant, this is my knowledge

If you think your bounty is scam then leave it as soon as possible. Ive experienced kind of that I participated until the end but the ending is still waiting and i informed that they scam the money of people. Think twice before you join make some research about a bounty if it is fake or legitimate. Be aware

The bounties was announced by Full members. The ranking of announcers on Bitcointalk is high. But we were still scammed. My heart goes to those that have actually invested money. I only invested my time and energy.

Same Problem is here. I also participate many Bounty Scheme but got scam. I got fade up from this.

Sorry to hear that.. just be really careful when you sign up for bounties and extra careful when it involves monetary investment (i would stay away from those)

Well, why don't you study the coin a little better next time? I know for sure there are good projects that offer legitimate bounties, just read up a little about the coin before puting any time in. You will soon see the scams from the crowd.

A good way to differentiate a good ICO and scam ones is the amount of funds that have been raised in the pre-sale. I know most ICOs don't post this info / don't have a pre-sale, but I generally never do a bounty that doesn't have some pre-sale amount, unless the hype for the ICO is incredible.

I usually join bounties that are managed by trusted campaign managers, such as higher ranks and has a trust from a trusted members.

Sorry to hear that from you mate.
Read about the project behind that bounty. Mostly you can define it, if it's a scam or not. Try to do a little research and try to know about who are those people behind the project. It is hard to deffinitely see if one ICO's are good and promising.
Don't keep tired on making bounty its a lot of money on it.

It will be hard for beginners to differentiate a legit and a scam ICO/project, because there are companies that have good projects that is being run by professionals in this kind of scams. It is annoying because sometimes the project that we are promoting ending up scamming people. But there are still ways for you to spot those shitty projects, my advise to you is too look for their whitepaper because most scam ICO/projects have poor writing and poor content on their whitepaper. Take a look on how huge the community that is supporting it, if only few people wants to support it better to avoid it. If the people behind it don't want to reveal themselves, more likely that they are planning to scam their investors.

You can do research before you join any bounty or ICO program. It is not hard i think, because you will not lose anything with do a research.

You have to take some time initially to do some due diligence on the projects but realistically it's going to happens sometimes. Learn from it and your mistakes and move on. If it's happening every time though then you're not vetting your ICOs properly.

Because you are a newbie and you can't do any research to know what was the differences between fake and real ico. But you can try to follow those already listed in the ico rating. it seems to be a good place for you rather than follow your own research about that. It gives you an alternative way to join in the bounty.
 
As far as i know, at least you can try to earn a little buck rather than nothing.

With many ICO occur recently, you must be selective as not all ICO will pay or keep exist as far as my experience can tell.
This is crypto world , full of anonymity so you can ask your local experienced bitcoin trader if you need suggestion whenever this ICO is good to follow or not !

There ain't a solution to learning whether the ICO is a scam or not unless there is a regulation about ICO where the team has to submit something to prove they are legit. I don't think OP is just the only who suffered from this situation there are several people not just newbies but probably Heroes too. The more its frustrating when you are a Hero and have invested to this Scam ICO.

I've seen your last post and you seems to be hurrying too much for the bounty. The managers are too busy and aren't able to reply your complain quickly every time.
The bounties especially the ICOs one, are generally paid after the completion of ICO and distribution of tokens to the buyers.

It can be difficult for a beginner to differentiate between scan and legit ICO however if you read thru details and check few core things such as who is the bounty manager, what's the BM rank/rating/trust ratio, what are the core plans of ICO, who are the people involved, read their whitepaper, pay close attention to experienced people comments and questions. These are few ways by which you will get a feel of ICO however these aren't the only ways. Always do you homework before investing because this is your money.

Its pretty simple with ICO's even if you are a newbie.....do you research and research and research before you put a dime into the company. Yes the campaign manager being legit is a good sign but NOT the only thing you should look for. And if you think the research takes to much time, just invest in ETH, NEO, or other solid alto coin while you are researched ICOs....will save you from getting scammed everytime other than if a project fails.
