It is difficult to realize which ones are the real ones, and which ones are the fake ones.
There are more than hundreds of bounties on this forum at the moment, so tell me, how the hell are you gonna check them one by one? it is more than impossible.

Obviously the worst of the 2 scenarios is a Fake ICO as you will end up losing your money and not just your time. Not much you can do really if the ICO is being hosted outside a litigious jurisdiction such as the US. Not surprising really that most ICO are not open to US citizens. If you do get stuck with a fake then just pick yourself up and move on hopefully with some lessons of how to avoid in the future.
I now look for good management company being associated with running the campaign, they tend to sign contracts with the client and have legal people looking at the projects before they get involved.

I am a newbie just trying to grow on this platform. Within a week of participating in altcoin bounties, 2 bounties I participated in have been reported as Scammers. I get a lot of reads on my articles and Social media pages. I cannot keep encouraging people to invest in these altcoins if they would eventually get scammed. How can new bounty hunters like myself differentiate between a genuine bounty and scammers bounty?
It's hard to tell if the bounty is fake or not but you just need to get out of the bounty and find another bounty that is convincing. Make sure the bounty manager is the famous manager because they are more trustworthy than the local manager. And look at the development of its token sales whether it has reached softcap or not, it can determine. If you have reached softcap then you will get your reward.

The only thing I have a deal with now is ICO projects. I just like new ideas and new technology. 90% is a crap there of course but other 10% are worth to be interested in such way of making investments.

I have faced the same problem as some of bounty programs I participated ended up being scams. The time we spent on them just becomes a waste. When I compare the bounties which were successful and which were scams, they do not show much difference, some scam projects even looks promising than real ones during ICO period.

Actually if you participating for an ICO and later on you will know that it is fake you cant do anything that can pay you back. But if you want to participate you can look for their whitepaper and their roadmap and also you can look for tge team if they are experience in running ICO. For me you will if the ICO is fake when it ends.

When you decide to participate in a certain bounty campaign make sure that the ICO has a website and at least a legitimate looking team, and do not focus so much on the bounty manager as he provides services for reward just as you do, and hopefully you will be fine.

If you know that you are working for scammers, then why do you continue to do this? You can write an article or a post about the project being led by a molebot or simply retiring from the bounty program.

Carefully read the forum and see which bounties are chosen by participants with high ranks. They have more experience, so you can trust them.

We have no way of knowing if ICO is a hoax, and only when the bounty is over will we know if it is a hoax.
I usually add rewards that are managed by trusted advertising managers, such as higher grades.

I have only two(2) myetherwallet, one is for the airdrops and bounty campaigns application so that everything I receive will be on that wallet no matter how many or few of the coins are.

You should better choose projects, no one will pay you if they have not collected the right amount. See where more members with large ranks participate.

We don't know what bounties are fake and legit. We just knew it was fake when they give no rewards from your campaign. Just leave that bounties and just look for another one. Read more about the bounties you have parricipated, gather information from it before you campaign.

According to my mind, do not go for the project if there is any doubt in my mind. I am researching the country, idea, quality, strange things in ICO potential. If proven fraud then spread awareness to others as much as possible

You should look for reputable bounty managers, they are professional. Often they will learn projects that they find good to manage. All you need to do is consider projects you have potential in the future. Good luck! Hope you don't find fake ICOs anymore

Read a lot about the bounty, check it out on the Internet, and, of course, the bounty manager, but it's not easy to identify the real scam when you're just starting out.

you dont have anything to do with it, just avoid it, you can investigate by yourself to avoid it. you can easily know if an ico is scam if their public profile is incomplete or do a little research about the names posted on their whitepaper.

To avoid such situation first of all join bounties that you can find in signatures of users with high rank. They've definitely made preliminary analysis before taking part in it.
