I got a following problem, my google chrome ETH app doesn't always send transactions to network (despite a fact there is a confirmation). So I'd like to migrate to MEW and connect my leadger to it.

The only question is my BTC safe? I mean I got a BTC wallet trhought google chrome app as well can I connect leadger to MEW account without a risk of loosing BTC ?

p.s. Can't find answer on official webpage/faq etc.

Yes you can. Your BTC will be safe.  Your Ledger private key generates different coins wallets. If I am not mistaken you can use 6 coins actively on Ledger Nano S. For more you will have to uninstall applications and install new. That will make you to not be able to use that coin you just uninstalled application. But it will still be in your possession until you will install that application back. So theoretically you can have 999 different coins on Nano S but only 6 of them easy to send out and in.

this information is correct. or almost. you can't have 999 different coins on Nano S. they don't support so many at the moment....

Delete / uninstall an application Nano S and Blue

5 hours ago Updated
The secure element in the device is limited in memory space and only 4-5 apps (Nano S) or 8 apps (Blue) can be installed simultaneously.

If you want to use more simply uninstall temporarily one app and replace it with another.
All apps can be installed/uninstalled without any risk to lose your funds. You can uninstall all apps an re-install them to reset the whole memory fragmentation.

To uninstall an application, launch your Ledger Manager.
