I read this news at  https://www.fxstreet.com/news/swiss-ecomin-switzerland-wants-to-be-a-crypto-nation-201801300630  and its  really gladly my heart.
Economy minister Johann Schneider Ammann, Said "Switzerland want to be a crypto nation" as at the time when many developed and developing countries are expressing their negative options on cryptocoin and we are hearing news that many countries want to ban it. What is your take on this move or comments?

indeed this news will serve as a booster for cryptos to penetrate a certain countty, switzerland is known for being innovative and open for new tech, i am not surprise if they are the first country to try cryptos, hoping more country will also follow them.

Considering how the Swiss were the banking partners of Nazi Germany and currently aid the affluent in tax evasion in their home nations, I reckon they're a fan of anything they can exploit to their own benefit. It's not particularly surprising to find they might purposefully embrace something in Bitcoin that other nations aren't, especially since their banks rather openly aid people in breaking their own laws on taxation and sheltering off the book assets.

Swiss support doesn't bode well automatically given their by-design morally questionable institutions.

It's definitely a positive one.

It's rare these days to see a country that is actually interested in cryptocurrencies, because almost all countries are actively trying to persecute crypto businesses and users and trying to limit their existence within their country.

Again, regulation is fine. As long as it's not restrictive of people accessing cryptocurrencies with overly strict rules. But I do believe that countries which adopt or support cryptos the earliest will benefit the most over the long run.

Switzerland is very conservative and strict in financial matters. Confidentiality is their thing. I believe that they want to support the image of the country and be in a trend.

Switzerland is a nice and develop country, making their nation a crypto community is not a bad idea they wanted to adapt new technology and be engaged with crypto currency which I found a good move making their country a better one. This means crypto currency is something big that can be imposed and be regulated in a develop country.

Don't know why but I feel all countries should go with this decision and we can see millions of dollars flooding into the crypto just like that.

Switzerland is country where Swiss bank makes the real move when it comes to huge money (black money in would say). With that said I believe this will be easier for them to accept and implement the new set of rules for the crypto. If the output of this acceptance is great then rest of the countries may start following them.

I mean who can stop them earning huge taxes on that kind of money and enriching the countries situation. Jealous countries will follow soon.
That is really a good recent news. It support the future growth of crypto in the world. Probably, all people even countries all over the world will accept and follow what will happene and realized in Switzerland. This country may become a financial reference for other government and country that can imitated or followed other countries. If this decision support and improve the country's economy, of course will support also other countries' economy.

That is a good idea for them to be a cryptocurrency nation because they can have more opportunities to grab compare to the countries that is not a cryptocurrency nation. It can also help them to depend on blockchain and be more secured and be better in their systems compare to other countries which can also result to themselves to be more advanced.

This is a postive move for them, in turn people will learn why one country involves itself in cryptocurrency, not only that people will be aware that there are a lot of cryptocurrencies out there people will also learn on how to take care of their finances, given that a huge capital can be gain from cryptocurrency and that there will be no third party for them, they can manage their own portfolio, however there is a down side, others might try to hack its ctizens and there might be discrimination, since there are countries that do not support crypto currency yet, they might find the swiss to be criminals.

It was a very good news for cryptocurrency investors because it only means that the community is growing even more since there will be more investors in the future if that is the case.

Working with money and seeing opportunities are big strengths of the swiss nation.
Compared to a relatively small population they have big and successfull banks.
And success usually proofs the people are right in what they are doing.
If a government of such a country makes good basic conditions for crypto currencies, I am sure we will see in a few years how benefitial for everybody the integration of crypto currencies in a society can be.

Latest news coming from Switzerland:

Quote
]The government of Switzerland has requested a report investigating the possible risks and benefits of launching its own, state-backed cryptocurrency, the ‘e-franc’. The request must be approved by the lower house of the Swiss parliament before it will be allowed to move forward.

So it looks like they are looking on having their own crypto, which for me is a good sign that they are really into crypto not just embracing it, but giving more opportunities for their people to take advantage of it by possibly launching its own coin. Lately we have seen Petro's Venezuela's and Russia's Rubble and China and Iran as well joining the fray. Let's see how it pans out if their parliament will allow it or not.

This seems to be a good news. We barely see or hear news about a country or should I say government giving postive intention towards cryptocurrency, all the while we've been exposed to the news that delivers negative issues about bitcoin and this sounds different. I look forward to this one because I believe that this will create good impact for us too.

Bright idea from their minister. Cause they knew that cryptocurrencies will do a lot on their economy. Someday I know that our country too will legalize and will have.a course that related in cryptocurrency so I will make my own history and many people will support that type of education

I think all countries should make such a decision, and blockchain technology is the core of the future.

I believe we will see in a few years how the consolidation of cryptocurrency in society will benefit everyone.

Switzerland may be one of the most (if not the most) trusted countries for that sort of businesses. They have very low amount of governmental regulations compating to the other countries. They are staying away from most international conflict. And one of the most important things is that Switzerland  is not a part of the EU so european establishment won't have a power there.

The acceptance of crypto currency or digital currency transaction with this country is an eye opener  to the world on the trading market, the global acceptance on Bitcoin or crypto currency market is favorable in the crypto currency investment, a lot more is getting interested to crypto market, more possible investment is just waiting for the right timing to put in into the crypto market trading, once the the issues on Banned,Scammer, and on Regulation on Digital crypto currency transaction are address, it will change the global market trading, and a lot more possible investors will come in. Indicators shows a more positive future for crypto or ALT coin investment.
