I was hacked last night due to that spam private message directing you to novascoin.com

the url redirects to NOVAScoin... with an S instead of novacoin.

The person successfully changed the password to my original forum handle "cryptograd"

Moderators please help

lucikly Coinbase has proper tools in measure. at 9am this morning they attempted to login to my Coinbase account. Coinbase sent me a lovely text message via SMS.

They also attempted to change the bitcoin wallet at my mining pool to thier own, Luckily Slush's pool require direct authorization to do that.

they did successfully access my BTC-E account.........thank God I only had .18 USD cents there.

Thank god you found it.  Bitcoin will remain sketchy until we can find better defenses against these damn scammers.  I can't be watching out all the time.  I need to do my work.

Always exercise caution when running suspicious programs. Formatting your HDD was a good choice. You never know what nasty stuff you have on your PC. Looks like a dark comet rat infection from the screenshot? Other users can try Dark Comet RAT remover tool instead of formatting (although it may not work 100%)

I think it's usually something like "you just won x btc, download the private key: wallet.dat.exe"
