I am wondering how well orbot's transparent proxy works with electrum.

I have seen some posts of DNS leak issues but I think those were on a windows pc.

Also if you set electrum up with tails it has no way to go around the proxy, at least as I understand.

So what about a rooted android?

I have orbot with superuser access, on a higher end android.  Running Hellybean rom and kernel- CM10 basically.

Orbot seems so be running fine. And the log dosnt show dns warnings when electrum is synchronising.

Any opinions?  I would like to know how to double check the proxy myself if possible...

Hmmm, I just noticed the time electrum logs when I do a transaction is not the local time zone.

I think that is a good sign of the proxy (orbot) doing something.
