Apologies if we're doing something taboo by posting this announcement here. Mods, please let us know if we've done something erroneous.

Our company Insight Green LLC is currently releasing a new utility token called Rstory. This consists of measured units of our corporate value 'gratitude'. Rstory operates as a meta-cryptocurrency in that it works with multiple pre-existing blockchains. While we're currently planning on issuing fewer than 1B tokens in 2019, Rstory is infinitely re-issuable, and its base-units are financially worthless. By a series of formalized business procedures, our worthless gratitude tokens can circulate through various markets, accruing value commensurate with market perceptions of each token's accrual of social capital. Beyond this use as a storage mechanism for social capital, Rstory also functions as a reputation indicator for the Rstory gratitude network, and has novel uses as a data collection, storage, and retrieval system as well.

Please note that we designed this token to discourage speculative investment, and are uninterested in marketing this project in most of the ways that have recently become common in the cryptocurrency industry. However, our token is starting to trade on the Bitshares DEX and the Waves DEX, and we love bitcointalk, so it seemed prudent to make this announcement here at this time.

How do you plan to promote this project if your team is not interested in marketing this?

Sorry if I wasn't clear. We're doing lots of marketing. However, the strategy our head of marketing has developed is not based on bounties, does not rely on purchased lists of identities, and much of it involves face-to-face conversations in community spaces, such as at large public events. Since much of our product's intended user base is not currently familiar with cryptocurrencies or the online communities where these tend to be discussed, we aren't marketing our token in the same ways that most cryptos are marketed.
