The number of bitcoin is only 21 million, is that enough for the future?
given the vision of bitcoin to become world currency?

what do you think of this?
The number of bitcoin doesn't matter at all.Even now only a few hold bitcoins in whole numbers and the rest of us only have a fraction of bitcoins. It's obvious that if many start mining most of the bitcoins and the other leftover bitcoins are invested and are being  hold then the
value of bitcoin will increase and we will use bitcoins in even more smaller fraction,it's as simple as that.

I dont think that is enough, when a lot of people using it, the price will be very expensive, that is why there are alt coin that we can used, and if we only used one currency, the rich will getting richer and the poor will have difficult access to bitcoin

Yeah well even if all the value of the world (73 trillion) transfers to bitcoin it can still be divided up to fraction of cents

Bitcoin's number that is running in the cryptoworld is just enough to supply all the users. A person can hardly acquire one bitcoin which means everyone has just about decimal to two bitcoins. Also, it cannot be out of supply because of the volatility of Bitcoin. When the price is high, many holders sell their Bitcoin. When the price becomes low, many buy bitcoin and the cycle keeps on going.

Limited number of bitcoins will lead bitcoin to have a higher price in the future. Good thing Bitcoin can be bought in a fraction. Other alt coin owners are burning their unused coins too.

There will be 21 million bitcoins. But consider that every bitcoin is equal to 100 million Satoshi. There are also many other cryptocurrencies that can be used for payments.

If the supply is limited, we will see bitcoin on a higher price. This is great because if you hold much bitcoin then you make good money. Other cryptocurrency offers great services and I think we will never run out of supply in the future, this is just a cycle.

I think it is enough. If for the fact that not all people are that greedy. Ahaha!

But, really, that is enough.

Think about this...

2.1 quadrillion Satoshi (each Satoshi is defined as 100 millionth of a BTC)

Is that enough?

The thing that we use as a currency must be portable, fungible, durable (and not easily counterfeit), divisible and have intrinsic value.

Yes that supply is enough for the demand provided that the value will increase so that supply will become available and enough for the circulation. There's no way to increase bitcoin demand as much as we want to have more bitcoin that is one reason while alternative coins are introduce to divert the market demand of bitcoin.

I think for now 21 million bitcoin are enough to fulfill the needs around the world, but comparing with the far future when more people will get to know it, and more people will invest in it and hold their bitcoins, the circulation will get slow between users so the limited supply will be a problem with a high demand, this will be solved unless the value increase and reach a high price though.

Yes, you know that 1 bitcoin is 100.000.000 satoshi. So 21M Bitcoin is surely enough for future.

Having said that, it can somehow hold the needs of this generation despite how hungry we ought to be, but in the next decade we are never sure to that.
I guess btc will be far more less profitable when it comes to mining block size increase its computation, mining was so easy to set up today but how about next decades did you think there are no difference, but that is the question making you feel alive to dig deeper unto the crypto world

In economics, the law of demand states that if the price is lower, the demand increases. If you higher the price the demand decreases.

So if the demand for bitcoin increases the price of it should decrease right? But beacuse the supply for bitcoin is limited or difficult to produce the price of it increases in the market.

Increasing the supply will affect the value of bitcoin. If the supply and demand equalizes, the price would stabilize thus lowering the price of bitcoin.

Of course it's "enough". For a currency to be truly valuable it needs to be truly scarce. A hard cap of 21mm is meaningless because BTC is divisible up to 8 decimal places, so we can trade in satoshis. And, a fork can always be done is more divisibility is necessary.

Lowest interest lending in bitcointalk history. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2846750.0

It is enough given that the price of bitcoin will increase. It is not that all of the population of the world will use it now but I think if they all start using it, the price will massively increase and I think even there are a lot of bitcoins that cannot be used, it will still be enough.

Yes, 21 million bitcoin is more than enough for the future. Bitcoin can go up a lot more and it's value is expected to continue to shift.

yes, we know that the vision of bitcoin is to become the world's currency, if we look at the reality now, many countries are still resisting bitcoin, bitcoin inventory is only 4 million more, the estimated time will be exhausted in 2024. so in 4 years with a supply of 4 million bitcoin again, I think this will not be enough to reach bitcoin vision.

But consider that every bitcoin is equal to 100 million. There are also many other cryptocurrencies that can be used for payments. The 21 million may not be enough if the bankers and the Deep State remove enough coins to restrict its use.

That's true because the number of bitcoin has been set before being circulated to the public so the value of bitcoin can not be added even in less and I still believe that bitcoin can survive in the future with many enthusiasts who start using bitcoin as an investment place.
