Besides this forum of course, what site do you go to for the latest, accurate and informative news on crypto ?

I tend to google crypto news but if there's a site that carries it all in one I would definitely be interested in checking it out.

Not exactly a news site, but a sort of community forum just like bitcointalk, but for cryptocurrencies in general. News from various crypto news sites are posted there by the members hence I don't need to go to individual crypto news sites, I can just go to reddit and view a compilation of new news. Also, members can communicate and talk about certain news, which is great in my opinion.

For me that is too much reading. I like to listen to YouTube. Although there are biased channels and channels that just pump and dump without you knowing it, I still feel like that is a better option, at least for me. Just find a good YouTuber.

And I would say each site has its own benefits

If your looking for education guides - then CoinDesk - Leader in blockchain news.

If your looking to compare between wallets,mining tools -cryptocompare.com

for ICO’s Cointelegraph Bitcoin & Ethereum Blockchain News hands down most updated.

And for news lately ive found that Home - DC Forecasts - Leading Digital Currencies have been uploading daily between 10–20 articles giving me the most amount of information on one site (also very user friendly)

That depends on what I am looking for if I am searching for an ICO then the good place to dine about this would be crown genetic however if I am looking for the current news on bitcoins then I would go to twitter to find out what other people are doing

I like https://www.coindesk.com/ to read news about cryptos, i think with this forum and that site you will be updated with all the relevant and fresh information about bitcoin and altcoins.

Sometimes twitter brings nice info too, but there 95% of the info is trash and 5% deserve a chance.

Why limit yourself to one?

Download Feedly (or any RSS app/plugin)
Then just search “best crypto/bitcoin/blockchain RSS feeds”
Add the feeds to the app and boom you get it all.

We were so sick of the crypto news sites that we started building a maximalist site.

Just to explain why bitcoin is valuable and where people can get it around the world. And why their national currency is probably rigged and less valuable than bitcoin...so many people don't get it still.

It is probably a bad idea because there is a lot of money in shilling ICO's and altcoins for so many crypto news sites.

There is however the argument that no altcoin or ICO would be alive if it werent for bitcoin.

I visit a lot of cryptocurrency websites regularly without noting most of the names, my browser has configured to give me latest news from the major websites whenever it's out up.
For general discussions I also visit, www.moonforum.net in addition with bitcointalk.
For ICOs I use, www.icodrops.com

I am watching Cointelegraph sometimes. Its a nice site with short and good written articles for everyone who is interested in crypto world. Their posts are written in simple language so even difficult subjects are described in way that everybody gets it.

But the history shows that news and price on bitcoin ARE NOT related to each other. The news can be fucking positive while bitcoin will not raise in its value at all or even falling. Or vice versa. News are more for those who interested in crypto as technology not as investment. News are also highly manipulated by big players of crypto market (they owns most of popular crypto news sites) so its one of their manipulation weapons.

So do not base your trading strategy on crypto news better.

Though this thread is kind of old but OP looks for related news about cryptocurrency not about bounty projects. Usually every crypto folk visits to see updated news from these sites:

I recommend getting your bitcoin news from Twitter. Follow the right people and you will get concise and fast information, much more efficient than reading winded and agenda-driven pieces from CoinDesk. Of course, this is as long as you can stand the toxicity.

if you want a discussion forum, then there are some other sites that also provide it, such as bitcoingarden, altcoinstalks. but indeed this BTT site is the most popular. maybe from some forums you can complete your knowledge. if you just follow the news if Cryptocurrency then you can visit CoinDesk, cryptolinks. If you want to watch, visit YouTube with the keywords you want ...
