Nobody can know the future. Bitcoin is at the top for now, but it will most likely be replaced by a more sustainable currency.
The real question is "which one?"
It is so unexplainable, this question is too far to talk about but it have a sense in which we can't asure the future. I think it can because what sinks into my mind that the altcoins have their own use and its too many as of now like bitcoin they have their own blockchain that can consistently work and run without bitcoin. Therefore it is not which one rather which altcoin's and tokens can do it without bitcoin. |

It is true that although bitcoin has great influence on this market, it does not mean that when it disappears the crypto market will disappear along with it. I believe in the blockchain technology platform.
I guess Bitcoin will be used for dozens of years. maybe it will not have a great effect on the market. The other altcoins will survive and rule in this world. |

I think yes they will all survive even bitcoin will lost already in this world because usualy all altcoins are created to compete bitcoin in real world so im sure they will survive without bitcoin.

Basing on the market today bitcoin is dumping hard and also the alt coins. I guess without bitcoin the other coins will be gone too. What do you think?
Do you really think that the bitcoin will die? of course no! Be updated to the current news for you to become knowledgeable person. The demand of the bitcoin is currently increasing and I know that bitcoin will become more valuable than before. |

Bitcoin was already proven that he can survive even he is the only one coin in realy real world before so i think im sure thet some coins also can survive even without bitcoin in the future.

With the fact that for now we can trade some altcoins with other altcoins like ETH/Tokens and other pairs, it means that for now altcoins is not really depending on BTC. So I think it is very possible for other coin to survive even if bitcoin is gone although I'm sure most people will not be happy to see if bitcoin have to die.

I dont think that the other can survive when the bitcoin will die or will gone in this world, i am a fan of bitcoin so when the bitcoin will lose it's popularity and it will gone there is no doubt that the other coins will also die because people will not invest there money anymore. |

They would end up developing doubts as if a powerful and trustworthy crypto coin like Bitcoin can fall then how come others can’t have the same fate. Altcoins depend on Bitcoin in every aspect. I think if the bitcoin is gone maybe all crypto coin will fall down also, because if we are going to exchange the crypto coin or convert into fiat we must do convert or trade it first to bitcoin

The value of the altcoins are depending on bitcoin, so if the bitcoin falls down then most probably the other coins will falls down also. But, as we cannot predict what will happen in bitcoin nor altcoins for the upcoming future, we still guarantee that maybe some other coins will be created. I think that they can survive because they are not depending on the market of bitcoin because they have their own type of market and community that can help them in order to make their price goes up

The blockchain technology cannot be erased it's a technology we have to live by, just like the internet, if ever Bitcoin is gone there will be another coin that will surface that will solve all bitcoin problems and besides there are a lot of bitcoin fork. I don't think it's gonna happen mate, bitcoin is the dominant crypto currency which almost all altcoins relying on its value

I suspect that Bitcoin will not vanish. people will continue to use it even after this day when the last BTC is mined. The best stable cryptocurrencies will also survive. |

I don't think it's gonna happen mate, bitcoin is the dominant crypto currency which almost all altcoins relying on its value. As you can observed we are here in the bitcointalk forum which make sense bitcoin is the most popular of all and for me it's impossible to happened that bitcoin will gone. Bitcoin experienced a lot of difficulties on the previous years which means even how down the bitcoin has, still survived up to this time. |

Bitcoin cannot be vanished because Bitcoin's price is the major basis of the majority of alts value in the market. You need Bitcoin so you can start buying or selling your favorite alts. Bitcoin is like the USD in Forex, every fiat currency around the globe is basing their value in USD. |

When there is no base how come things will happen in the better way. From my understanding there will be other coins growing, but it won't be lasting long. Quite often it'll encounter issues from the government.

I think yeah because Bitcoin and the other coins are not from one family and are different technologies. There has been a good market demand for the rest of the coins as well and not only Bitcoin. Having said that we can now say that even in the absence of Bitcoin, the rest of the coins will survive and a rise in the price might even occur. So better start holding or investing. You never know what happens next. |

Bitcoin is really difficult to disappear in the cryptocurrency world,but if ever it will happen,all other coins will be also died. We should think that if the king of all coins,trusted by many people,proven and tested is died,how about the others?!...and that's my own opinion,hope we will always accept everyone's opinion.

I do not think so, even though the bitcoin price and the other crypto currencies are mutually sustainable, but indirectly all of them affect the crypto holders, who would prefer to invest in other crypto currencies when bitcoin prices go down and they may will come out of bitcoin when bitcoin begins to fall. but I think that seems to be very big for investors. if bitcoin fails then people will lose interest or trust in other crypto currency.
indeed everything can happen, but I think bitcoin will survive forever. bitcoin exists from a very small value and is now a huge giant. So in my opinion, people have confidence in bitcoin and hold bitcoin and believe that bitcoin will last a long time.
