Bitcoin is still popular, there's no denying that but it probably has lost a portion of new interest, mainly with social media painting bitcoin in a very bad light at the moment. I'm sure the media light may reverse again once everything has settled down.

yup probably just look at the patterns in the charts if it breaches out 11k again maybe a new all time high again in bitcoin networks and price will occur
amazing how those people and whales manipulative tricks how to control bitcoin's price.
it will not loose its popularity in fact it will be more attractive if the lightning network will occur and will apply to current bitcoin disturbances hehe.
if that will happen 50k USD per BTC can happen surely!

I don't think so. Right now there are more coins that have profit, but the biggest coin is still bitcoin, not others. Because the value of coin which has bigger price is bitcoin. So, I suppose that bitcoin still wins than other coins.

I don't think so. Now a days Bitcoin is really known in the internet. Wherever sites you go, the advertisement of Bitcoin is flashing. From the sites we watch, read and heard Bitcoin is there. So it is impossible Bitcoin will loses its popularity.

Frankly speaking, I agree that there are many other coins getting momentum but I believe that those coins have their own philosophy and they are dealing with some other sectors. However, Bitcoin is still a hot option for remitting the funds on the international level, in the crypto industry. I don't see any reduction in popularity but the issues like high transaction fees are affecting the further growth.

Yep I agree, it's being kept artificially low by the futures trading. When it breaks out this time it will go on a tear all the way up to at least $50k.

For me bitcoin is still the most popular digital coin ever.  And there is no doubt about it.  Even there are new created coins they are nothing compared to bitcoin.  It is the first ever digital curremcy and it will never lose its brilliance.

Bitcoin will always be the king of crypto, but unfortunately we have a situation where exchanges think they are selling something to its users when they are not, they are incorrectly applying KYC stupidity which costs us our privacy... As far as I am concerned the only people stupid enough to share their ID online, are those who are sharing ID that does not belong to them.

The reality is that the exchanges would be considered charities in the eyes of the law as we allow them to take a fee from our trades in order to cover their running costs, its a donation.

Supply and demand is what has been manipulated this time, why would we want something that costs us our privacy, and no doubt would cause problems with customs if you were to travel...

Bitcoin price will continue to fall until the exchanges undo this forced ID stupidity...

Bitcoin is still the most popular coin and day by day it becomes more popular. Every one knows cryptocurrencies, at first knows bitcoin and then knows other altcoins. Almost all of the people investing in cryptocurrecnies have bitcoin in their portfolio. No one can ignore bitcoin even if believes that there is a coin more profitable than bitcoin.
