Indeed now a lot of coins emerging, with the number of coins in the market may be one cause of bitcoin less stable. But it does not mean that bitcoin is not popular anymore. It Seema that bitcoin can affect the rise or fall in altcoin prices. So bitcoin can be a benchmark or other altcoin guidelines. Bitcoin is also still the most expensive coin in the digital currency.
The only thing that came to my mind if we will talk about the popularity of bitcoin is, bitcoin is now more popular or famous compared before and that is the best thing about bitcoin because if you bought bitcoin now and wait for the time for bitcoin to get even more popularity then it will be easy to you to just earn a lot of profit since the market reacts based on the demand of the people around.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

if we look at all the price of crypto is unstable and even then equal to bitcoin. if I think bitcoin will not lose its popularity because bitcoin is the first crypto. The important thing is to get in as early as possible into a coin that has a genuine purpose. Bitcoin is the first coin of it's kind and is still number 1 after all these years!

it is normal for the altcoins to give more profit than bitcoin because they are threatened and that is their strategy to get more investors but that strategy makes their company going down. when it happens, all investors will go back and the value of bitcoin will increase.

Even though bitcoin has been in decline it's actually been in decline less than any other big caps, it's still up 10x on the year so I think perspective is important when judging bitcoin

It does not loses its popularity it just  happened that this time a lot of people are enjoying their profit and had withdrawn some of their holdings and it is just a normal thing, we should be able to see this after a huge break that  happened last year. Not meeting our high expectation does not mean it is dying it is just making a rest after a big break.

There is a lot of emotional value attached to bitcoin now, despite it not necessarily being the most efficient. Other coins may produce good ROI however bitcoin won't disappear, maybe less popular in the long term Smiley
Well I think bitcoin is still popular and day by day its going more famous because the way it’s going to deliver its services to its users its unbelievable and in this year bitcoin will be reached to many countries which will give more power to bitcoin so I think there is a possibility that bitcoin can be global currency in future.

I'm sure that bitcoin can not lose its popularity, because bitcoin is so popular around the world. Even bitcoin is a positive thing to get the easy way, especially in my country, bitcoin is very valuable for those who are very easy to use, both in terms of investment and the most secure transactions to earn income.

Sure it is loosing , Just look at the bitcoin price today , lossing , loosing and loosing.

No, it is just the strategies of whales and some bad news happened in other countries that is why the price is dropping. But I am sure that bitcoin will recover again soon. Maybe in march or in mid of this year. I heard that what is happening now with bitcoin is normal and it will recover soon.
I don't think bitcoin is losing its popularity because everyday there are people who willingly join the bitcoin community. Of course there are times when the prices increases then decreases or vice versa but it is just the nature of the bitcoin this is due to the changes in the market. However, I am certain that  bitcoin will grow even more in the future.

Although it's right that there are many other coins that's profitable, and it may be that people choose to move their investment to those coins, but still there's nothing that beat bitcoin yet, and i'm pretty sure it'll be better soon, it's even beginning to now.

Even though that there are more coins in the market, the bitcoin is still popular and the popularity is spread all over the countries. Because most of people choose btc in terms of investment. The bitcoin popularity will not lose, because it has a good value compare to other coins.

Right now there are more coins available in the market which gives you more profit than bitcoin.
Bitcoin price is also not stable.
All these factors affect its popularity ??
What you think, still bitcoin is more popular ?
Bitcoin has gained its popularity for a long time and all of its hardships really paid of after all these years. Everybody was doubting its capability at the beginning but as years passes by, it showed its true color by making it to the top and dominating for a long time up until now. It would take a long while to bring bitcoin down and I think its popularity will continue to increase as new cryptocurrencies arise behind its fame.

I dont think so , because bitcoin is bitcoin sir , because it is a digital and global money system currency. It allows people to send or receive money across the internet, even to someone they don't know or don't trust. bitcoin is still popular and the popularity is spread all over the countries. Because most of people choose btc in terms of investment and money can be exchanged without being linked to a real identity.

Most often Altcoins are buying to protect themselves from possible problems in Bitcoin. In the Bitcoin network, there may one day come a catastrophic failure, which is not affected by altcoyins.
Prospects for using altcoyins in the future are significantly higher than those of Bitcoin, due to which one of the altcoins may sooner or later replace Bitcoin.

Even if Bitcoin remains the most valuable crypto currency, altcoyins will still find a place, and they will be able to occupy their niche, so, perhaps, investments in them make some sense.

Bitcoin is already ahead of all on the circle, with a great advantage, given its ecosystem and resources. There are two factors that help Bitcoin achieve success: stability and entrepreneurship. To date, for both of these indicators, Bitcoin is far ahead of any altcoyin, and it will be very difficult to catch up with it.

I do not want to say that investments in altcoyin are useless. Each investor must himself assess the risk-profit ratio and decide whether or not a particular coin is suitable for him. It's clear that altcoyins will not protect you in the event of Bitcoin's collapse. Altcoins are subject to the same risks, and a large share of the potential profit goes to Bitcoin.

Undoubtedly, there is a possibility that some altcoyne will take the place of Bitcoin, but first it should show its profitability, it must develop independently to compete before the Bitcoin ecosystem has a chance to add the same function.

People who invest in altcoins can get a much larger profit than those who invest in bitcoin. But bitcoin is safer and more predictable than altcoins.
