Massive sell off on livecoin 😔

Not much interest in buying if you still cannot withdraw from the exchange, so people are apparently dumping their coins while others are gaining huge bags of IPBC.

I thought withdrawls would be working 3 days after listing? Anyone know the real time? Nothing to worry about since after the initial dump on any new coin listing, it will start going back up. But everyone needs to spread the word, IPBC is still flying under the radar and a great buying opportunity now. As I was saying this would happen and I didn't need to buy OTC for 800 satoshis, just bought some for under 600 satoshi. Will buy a little more if it goes lower. Then after block 25,000 I expect it to start moving upwards nicely.

Judging by the recent jump in hashrate just give IPBC some time... Smiley

Massive sell off on livecoin 😔

This was expected because of the instal-mined roughly 20,000,000 coins. In the past 24 hours, about 1,500,000 was exchanged compared with just 460 coins/per block presently. It will need at least 6 months to dilute them.

It was about 1.4 million coins, not 20 million, so they are already being diluted and redistributed.

It was approximately 16m, not 20m, and of those the Devs have more than 4m.

Here's the page where the fix was introduced, complete with screenshots:

Thanks Speedie, yeah I was off by a decimal point since coin max is high. that's good though, only 1% from higher block rewards and dev bought back like they said. Things are looking good. And even better for miners after block 25,000 retargeting quicker.

Hello everyone!

We have just released another wallet update (1.0.6) containing vital updates. Please make sure you get it, as it's important for the coins future.
You can get it here: https://ipbc.io/wallet

Pool and explorer operators should update their daemons from the latest github code. (https://github.com/ipbc-dev/ipbc)

Because of recent instability caused by Nicehash miners coming and going, we have decided to implement a new difficulty algorithm.
Initially we considered Zawy's SHM, but after some internal testing settled on his newer LWMA / WHM algorithm. (https://github.com/zawy12/difficulty-algorithms/issues/3)
This should make the difficulty much more responsive to these kinds of attacks, and should improve solvetime stability, improving life for everyone.
Another change is the adjusting of the block reward penalty, which will now allow much bigger blocks with full reward.

These changes are configured to come into force at block 23000.

Thank you for your continued support.

Basic ideas behind IPBC project looks almost the same of Musicoin project, which creates platform for musicians and composers to earn more money from community and their fans. IPBC has different target population, which are books' authors, film producers, etc. However, I think both projects are good because they can change media ecosystem and help composers, authors to get money that they deserved to have.

well in this case you can contribute with hashrate to the content creator which i think is a great idea.
