Which coin are you mining and what kind of equipment are you using?

What are your results. What is your ratio of input $$ vs output $$?

input?? Huh do you mean Cost?

Every time I run the calculation I should have just bought coins instead of mining hardware and held the coins.  Hindsight is 20/20 though and you can usually sell the mining hardware for at least what you paid for it new which I don't put into the calculations...  It also assumes I bought the right coins I suppose.

Rig was about 2300 euro (2x 1080 + 1x 1080 Ti).
Earnings are 20-22 euro per day at this moment.

If you do the math, it didn't take me long to earn it back.

My daily earnings are here btw:

Thank you all for sharing your mining experiences.

What I would like to see is like this.

"I paid $600 for xyz graphics card and I mined for monero and I got .xxxx coins per day"

In put $$ = $600

Output $$ (at the time of answering)= $xx.xx per day

Others here have mention whattomine.com, which is pretty much the gold standard, but nicehash's calculator is also very useful for a quick check:

https://www.nicehash.com/profitability-calculator

Just keep in mind that profitability calculators represent your potential return at this moment in time. Estimates of profit can and WILL change based network difficulty and exchange rates, etc.

Best of luck!
