Hey there you may have heard of the Uzebox
an open source and open hardware games console
its had a lot of coverage on tech news sites recently and it is staring
to take off, anyway due to its open nature anyone can create and sell there
own version.

So my idea is to purchase the low priced kits(or source the parts independently)
assemble them manufacture some sort of aesthetically pleasing case and then
offer them for sale with open source games coded by me or additional developers for
bitcoins and other payment methods such as paypal etc.

At the moment im looking for someone to invest in the whole thing; buy hosting and a domain,
and purchase the first few kits, but anyone who feels that they have something to
contribute should contact be as well.
Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Do you really think, that it is possible to create games like they are on PS3 or Xbox, for example?
I think it must be an amazingly reach investor, or it will fail. I think we must convert existing business to bitcoins, but not create new ones.
But, of course, it's just my opinion...

The Uzebox is an 8 bit retro style system,
but look into XNA if you want to create xbox games.

Any examples of games you've made before? Any ideas for games for the system?

I could help with assembly. I've got a lot of electronics and robotics tools I could use, and I'm pretty good with a soldering iron.

It seems worth it but it seems like it would have to be marketed towards either kids of a certin age or geeks like myself where dos and consoles never die. I offered web space.
