Australia's oldest mint, the Perth Mint, is preparing to launch digital currency backed by precious metals, whose chief executive, Richard Hayes, said investors need to be brought back to the precious metals market after another wave of investment, such as digital money. This plan will make it easier for consumers to buy gold, and the date of launch is yet to be determined.
