After reading this forum I guess buying is the better option. At least you are sure that you get some BTC for you money, with mining you need to invest a lot and in the end it might or might not pay out...

depends what your goal is. if you just want to use your cryptos to purchase stuff, then mining is too much hassle. if you want to support the technology and participate in the community, then mining is a great idea. if you just want to try daytrading on an exchange, a combination of buying crypto and mining it might be a good idea. its becoming increasingly difficult to mine profitably now that many people are doing it. also take into account the cost of your electricity, this will be a major factor in wether mining is a good idea for you.

buying now at $200 is better? why would anyone say that? this is just a buble. why buy when you could mine for free. minig will eventually pay off....just could take longer then expected. buying u could lose half ur money overnight.
ya if you bought a year ago at 100$ and held you would have doubled your money but nobody could hvae seen it hit $200 again.
