are there some other opinions for this?
even usdt I think not a very significant problem, if indeed examined in court. whether it can be finished with a short time for usdt inspection?
I think it's a classical fud from whale to go back buy btc for their benefit.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I also believe whales are putting too much supply on the market to make the price fall. Maybe all these FUD about governments and regulations are making some investors be afraid to keep investing and holding... It also affects the price. Anyway, I still think the most probable reason is the first one (whales manipulating the market).
Theoretically the proper price is always the currently price in a decentralized system, but when whales manipulate the prices it doesn't seem very decentralized at all...

We're in a situation where there is a lot of bad news lately and that's being used to the advantage of some. The thing is, if the whales you speak of are able to push the price down lower by blowing any potentially negative news out of proportion then they will. I think that the tether story is actually the most significant of all of the news lately, if it does prove to be true then it will be significant and can hurt bitcoin and cryptos. There are arguments such as that tether is only so small compared to bitcoin and so couldn't move it so significantly but that's not entirely true. Anyone who's watched an order book before has probably witnessed how a big buy or sell wall can influence a price. The same could be true for tether, a few big buy walls inflating the price. In such an instance no tether even needs to be spent, it just moves the price up by giving the impression of support. |

It is my earnest prayer that the decline should not go below $9,000 so that the effects will not be that much on some of us that have strong faith in bitcoin. And what I believe is contributing to the current decline is those who sell as a result of panic sellers because for every amount of bitcoin you sell it contribute to the down fall in the market value of bitcoin.

It could be over, but people act emotionally when it comes to investing their money. They panic and sell when the price drops. I’m confident of a recovery, but we don’t know where the bottom is yet. I’m going to buy either some Bitcoins or Etherium but want to get the best price at the bottom of this drop. It could take a few days or weeks to bottom out. |

I have no concrete reason for it to be over because with all this FUD going around with Korea, China, India, and on top of that the Tether FUD you are going to have a couple of weeks of uncertainty. It feels like it has been longer than that but don't forget just one month ago we were bulling hard. The bullish moment will come and it will probably come soon because I don't anticipate BTC dumping like this for many days longer.

We can't be sure if it's over or not, one thing we can only do is wait and hold. People could still sell if they think the price of bitcoin wouldn't stop going down. I would do the same thing if I can't afford to lose my investment. It's possible to see bitcoin go down even further after this price movement. The price is now at $8.9k. If they don't believe in bitcoin then there's nothing we can do about their choice once bitcoin starts rising up they'll be the ones left out. |

It's the news that makes the price go up and down. It has been a long time since I heard good news and most of the news was negative this month (India Ban, South korea Ban, High fee). We need more good news and get away from panic. Keep Holding bitcoin is stronger than this news. |

All this is whales starting a sell with any bad news and than all these weak hand just keep selling and it creates a self fulfilling prophecy. You can tell it's pretty easily manipulation when you have these news articles writing and blasting these stories all around that have already happened or are just totally blown out of proportion in the first place. I would just take this time to actually study the market and read and digest the whitepapers of the projects you are in and interested in and keep the mind busy, and always learning.

What you say has crossed my mind, and my suspicion leads to the great whales, who else if not the great whales who (toyed) the bitcoin price today.
Initially, i wasn`t sure btc would be up to $ 8000, but today the facts show it, i'm really disappointed, but my disappointment isn`t at the falling btc price. I`m very disappointed in them, those who have raised the bitcoin price as high, and then drop it as low as possible.

While whales are buying at dip the panicking investors are selling. This is what the market surely indicates, if only those learn from the past then it won’t be happening, that bitcoin always recover after a huge decreases like this. Market manipulation is indeed a reality that we must always be aware of because we are losing this raise and given the big whales the advantage. Take this as friendly advice, hold for your own sake.

Maintain your bitcoin, please don't exchange it to fiat money. They are really trying to dump bitcoin hard so they can buy more, better not to sell on loss don’t contribute to the dumping price because you might loss your money. Whales are not selling on panic they did it intentionally and we will see bitcoin to bounce back this year. |

What is the "proper price"? Honestly it's a good thing to see that bitcoin price crashed a bit so that we can see and test how strong the resistance and suppor in every level. Let the price fall and just watched it as in that way it can removed those doubts and worries. Whales are part of the game so we just have to deal with this. This price crash don't crash literally my hopes because still I considered everything (the current price) as decent price, still way better than the price of bitcoin 2 years ago. |

Considering the steady FUDs from the big wealthy side players who are looking bro get into Bitcoin at a cheaper rate and constant government regulations and standards. It is safe to say that not just only Bitcoin but the whole Crypto space is getting revamped. Alot of people are dumping because of fear and nobody is even willing to buy. Bitcoin getting down to $8,5k is not funny.

I think that it would take some more time to happen as most of the market factors are against bitcoin like governments taking action against it. But still it would recover. One of the main benefits of this price crash is that it would almost wipe off most of the newbies who want to get rich quickly overnight using bitcoin.I hope that price would get a little steady at this range and would continue to increase. |
