The price is decided by people just like you and I, within the free market. If the overall opinions of bitcoin's value change so drastically then anything is possible. I do not however think that this will happen. If you look back as far as 2013 BTC's value was at $1k. Bitcoin and cryptos as a whole have come a long way since those times and the value really should reflect that. Adoption and overall exposure has grown a lot in the past years.

I will not pray for this and if it happen I will still be holding my coin. I believe in this technology and I think the volatility of it should not be what should be our concerns but bitcoin's adoptability. In reality  many people are in bitcoin today because of what they can get from it and they are using it as a channel of investment and not as a mode of payment for goods and services. Until we realized that bitcoin was actually created to be used as money and not investment opportunities we have not started yet.
You can buy and sell tokens and some coins but when it come to bitcoin you should trade with the aim of building blockchain technology that is going to replace our financial systems.

If the price goes below to $8000 it'll be surely a drawback to the entire cryptocurrency network because the capitalization will decrease to a much lower value. Yes we can use it as an opportunity to invest in bitcoin for a greater return especially for those people who missed the opportunity to invest in the first phase of crazy pump so I am going to invest this time like my friends did last time.

Op, there is no way in which the market value of bitcoin can decline down to $1,000 despite the current market trend downward which I attributed it to as a result people who are into panic sell of bitcoin and other FUD that is currently on going. But very soon the reversal trend will start and that when so many panic that end up selling at loose will start lamenting.

Furthermore, we're not even touching sub-$8000, so calling $1000 is nonsense as there are several support levels (and very huge ones) placed along the way. However if the key support @ $4000 is eaten up by massive sell walls, then that's the time we call it quits and we must be ready to face $1000 any time sooner, though I highly doubt that at the moment and for me, the bottom would be somewhere at $7000 before bulls gain momentum.

Yes that is right to say, i also think that there is no such bad news in the market which can cause for the bitcoin price to dump it.  I am hopeful that bitcoin price not break the 8000$ barrier and hope that bitcoin will get a strong support at that price. Hope that very soon we will see another increasing rally in bitcoin price and hope that this time the price of bitcoin will surely cross 25000$.

Even it has chance, I don't see it will happened now starting from the current price decrease movement.

Some people are really into negative thing just because bitcoin drastically decrease it's price continously. Just remember that $8,000 , $,9,000 above is just a target price last year and now we are still sitting at that. People just used to experienced a continous price increase that's why during a price crash, their hopes gone.

What to do now? Just watched how will the price moves and think of a way how you can take advantage on that.

1000$ is very low, it could decrease a bit again (maybe 6000$?). This price has at least the advantage to allow us to buy more if we want and to clean the people who bought some bitcoin just because they heard that it was profitable.
