Improve Mining

Hello everyone,

Few days ago I had a HD 5570 and was getting about 80M/hash. I recentrly bought a HD 7770 wih 1Gb and I only get aroud 50. The bfg an cg miner are not working since a switch card so i used the guiminer to test it, but i'd like to know if you could give me some advice to boost the hash rate of my  graphic card or any tip on how to get bfgminer working back. i've search the error and didn't find anything usefull.


I got a basic PC if it make any differences, 2GB of RAM, core 2 duo proc, and quite old mobo but it's doing it.

I use guiminer, i find it to be much simpler. Have you compared your speeds and settings with the wikis?

i was using guiminer and one day find out that i could get better rate with bfgminer or cgminer and it was true, i was also getting 50M/hash with the old card and when i try bfgminer i got 80.

And on the wikis people got 182 - 213M/hash with the card i got with lower speed, but there was not really any setting exept the miner wich is poclbm

i tried almost every thing and I can't reinstall the driver, still working on this

You should be getting around 200-250MH/s with that 7770, based on info here:

The AMD drivers really are a big deal. I've had continuous problems with the 13.4 drivers (newest as of now). I've got one mining machine running the 13.1 drivers without problems.

I finaly got the driver working and bfg working, with my config I got 240MH/s with default settings,
the problem was the driver so i should be Ok with bfg now, i'll try to get better MH/s in few days.
i will probably put it here if i get something really good
