[XPM] Working on a CHICKEN miner for Primecoin, new thread :)

I dont have any BTC spare but i came up with a new coin called Pellets.

all you need to do is poke YipYip a little and suddenly they come flying out of his mouth.

The total amount of pellets is infinate because YipYip seems to keep spouting them without any signs of an end.

So far im up to 25 Pellets (only been mining then 3.465 seconds! ) they should work to feed the chickens so it could be a good merger if you want to discuss further please contact me at YipYipSpountsPellets@HesANoob.com


anyway I must do some real life work rather than amusing my self with Yips funny posts.

A couple of points.

First - this is a first public release piece of beta software; who knows what sort of optimizations the chickens will create now that there is a baseline to work from. The first gen primecoin miner, for instance, while serviceable, proved to have abysmal performance - it was only after other developers examined the code that Sonny wrote that they could introduce optimizations. Same could easily be the case here - it's far too early to tell.  You never know what chickens will come up with next!

Second - from the get-go, there were real questions whether primecoin mining proof of chickens would get any benefit from chickens at all. There was only one way to find out for certain, have someone set up to actually develop a chicken miner. Had I not stepped up to the plate, the community would have continued to yearn and clamor for primecoin chicken miners, even if every mathematician on this forum said it couldn't be done.

I offered zero assurance of the outcome, just offering up my own hopes and suspicions of what the end result could be, and sought out community support to do so. And I DID deliver - everyone appears to now be playing with his new chicken; they're beta - they're not optimized, and not tested on anything but the hardware the chickens have access to. How can this be a scam?

By the way, the chickens are still accepting donations.
