I came to this section few weeks ago inexperienced and uninformed asking for loan and before i know it i have earned myself some negative trust ( based on wrong assumptions) and today having gotten familiar with the way things is being run in this section i have learnt and understand better why i got the neg, but now i need to ask whether i can still get loan here WITH reliable COLLATERAL. If i offer a genuine collateral, will i be considered or does it mean my neg trust has totally erased my chance of getting loan here even if i have a collateral that is ok.
Remember that Bitcoin is still beta software. Don't put all of your money into BTC!

...based on wrong assumptions...

...understand better why i got the neg...
You seem to contradict yourself. Did you understand why you got negative trust? Or do you still believe it was just wrong assumptions?

but now i need to ask whether i can still get loan here WITH reliable COLLATERAL. If i offer a genuine collateral, will i be considered or does it mean my neg trust has totally erased my chance of getting loan here even if i have a collateral that is ok.
Yes, of course. If you offer valid collateral then you will get a loan of any amount. I may grant it myself (or another negative trust if you keep asking with invalid/worthless collateral).

"Basically nothing" is to offer something worthless as collateral?
If you don't see what is wrong here then you have serious problem 1. with your eyes 2. with your judgement meter.

im not saying in this case, im saying in general ... ive seen multiple people get negative trust for "bad english" asking for loans with not enough collateral ... maybe they dont understand the concept and need to be shown how to lend before crucifying them and negative trusting their account to screw them over for future loans?Huh

1. use your eyes 2. use your judgement meter... youre absolutely right people can loan their coins with risk because its the internet and people do scam of course, youre not wrong at all in that part. But people just throwing around negative trust , ruining peoples accounts without cheating or scamming isnt right IMO... if somebody actually follows through with a scam or is completely being a troll about it then i understand, but before a transaction even occurs when it seems it could be normal i dont understand... If the guy is asking for something like 1btc or a huge amount then its extremely fishy, i just would like to see what hes asking for first and ask a bit of background before killing him

If you have valid collateral you will get a loan, simple as that. Your negative trust should not influence that.

Would it be super creechy to respond and say that I have had the exact same issue and it really is crappy lol I can't even get a loan of 0.005 with valid collateral because of a post I made as a "newbie" trying to help people earn some extra cash that they could have used to buy Bitcoin and then for offering my account as collateral when I had negative trust due to the above reason. I have never tried to scam anyone and don't plan on attempting to. Seems like people focus way too much on negative trust when the negative trust had nothing to actually due with the trustworthiness of the person. I don't know... Could just be me... I should probably just stick to Paxful but it sucks a fat one at times having to wait for my main people to login with a price that doesn't make me feel like I got f****d  Lips sealed

You obviously don't have valid collateral, otherwise you would get a loan.

If you can provide a stable altcoin worth 120% of the loan value, then I'll fund yours, or anybody else's loan for that matter. If you don't have collateral like that, then you do not have valid collateral.

Would you consider ETN, BTCZ, ZEC, ZCL, ITNS, BTG, SUMO, LUX, etc.. valid collateral? I have plenty of all of those but it is hard to know what people consider a stable altcoin because everyone has a different opinion on "stable".  Roll Eyes I am new to loans because I usually just purchase but with my big bad negatives I haven't had much luck and maybe I am just 100% wrong on what coins people are accepting as collateral  Huh and if I am I apologize... I am still learning  Smiley

Stable coins are pretty much anything in the top 20 coins by market cap. Most people will usually not accept coins with low trade volume and poor liquidity, or coins which are listed on obscure exchanges nobody has ever heard of.

Well if it's not complete scam coin and has atleast some liquidity there'll be atleast some people who're up for a "gamble" who'll be willing to loan with a sufficient collateral.

Just for me to understand.

Why should someone take a loan with another cryptocoin (say Litecoin) as collateral?
Isn´t it easier to just exchange your Litecoins for Bitcoins?

I completely understand that. I have been mining these coins for awhile and if anyone is willing I am more than willing to put up 120% of the 0.005 as well as repay 0.0059 on 02/05/2018. Let me know which coin (amount you expect) and wallet address to send to and let's go from there. Thank you all for helping out and explaining the things you have. Reading something on a site sometimes just makes my brain melt without filling it with the things I need to know  Huh Shocked Cry Wink

No. If I think that Litecoin would rise by 20% tomorrow, I wouldn't like to sell everything now and lose the 20% of potential profit. Collateral allows for the lender to be secured while still letting the borrower have their crypto back at the end of the loan.

If I had LTC I would but right now I have the coins mentioned above ---> ETN, BTCZ, ZEC, ZCL, ITNS, BTG, SUMO, LUX, and a couple other insignificant (at the moment) coins

Does reputation on other forums, LBC, 2+2, Casino forums etcetera count as collateral in some cases for very small loans?
