This feels so good, I bought at 0.419 as recommended at mastercoin.com.
Now the fonder of the project is selling at 0.13.
Which I never heard the name mastercoin in the first place. Would have a few extra US grand in my pocket instead.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Guys, Just on another topic, if you would excuse my interruption. But i wondering what happened to this coin launch mentioned by djohnston: Thank you everyone for your thoughts on this topic. I'm just getting caught up after spending the weekend working with a team of developers on one of the first Applications that will operate on top of the Mastercoin user currency / smart property feature. That is APIEngine.co / APIcoin. This was part of the Global Startup Battle / Startup Weekend 72 hour hackathon and I'm happy to report our model went over well enough with the judges that we won 1st place for Austin, Texas : ) https://github.com/DavidJohnstonCEO/APIcoin-Spec..... Does anyone know what is happening with this coin launch. Seem to me they got some 5Milllion in funding and they went quite after that. David Johnston, If you have changed your mind's' please let us know, some of us had a coin or two for this we could plan on using it to fund seedcoin fund II when it comes up. Maybe there is some announcement somewhere I missed but what that spec saids, tho it's seem to be a copy of Mastercoin spec is that the launch was yesterday....aussie time. Anyone know anything!!?? |

...Zerocoin in 2014 may just be a few of the well anticipicated
projects of the coming year.. looked for more info on zerocoin, didn't know it was going to its own blockchain - definitely better. I was looking around for mining info, see if it is worth doing, i.e. cpu mining. |

I was going to transact on the exchange too, but enough big buyers stepped forward that I didn't actually get around to doing that. Note that I still have most of the MSC in my control, due to people asking me to wait while they set up more secure storage solutions, but I received the BTC and sold it on coinbase. |

I'm done with large transactions in the near term. I'm putting together a plan to publicly announce my plans for future diversification SLOWLY and primarily at MUCH HIGHER PRICES (the idea is that my % holdings will go down as a function of Mastercoin market cap increases), and I hope most diversification will be investments into projects building on top of Mastercoin. You guys know there is a whole angel investor group forming up for the purpose of investing in Mastercoin-based companies and projects, right? Anyway, I'm not supposed to be talking about this publicly yet - I'm supposed to let our marketing people carefully craft announcements and when and how they are made. I just wanted to make sure the market knew that I am done fund-raising. That's all I have permission to officially say right now |
