Merit system working? Really!

I am here supporting the Merit system with sincerity of purpose based on the primary objective with which the system is originated to achieve. Even if I'm not saying this or in any manner trying to woo merit to myself, my fair is that will this system at the long run be just, fair , build goodwill and better atmosphere for all members in this forum? It shall go well with everyone of us if it is actually bringing sanity to the forum posts and not to over ride but to be encouraged junior members in the forum. Thanks.
