Please vote!!!

Nobody is using MtGox these days, the price is $5-$10 higher than the real BTC price.

It is too optimistic to have such a high price in MultiBit, it makes you think you are richer than normal  Grin

Vote to change the MultiBit price to another exchange, like BitStamp, or BitPay blended price..... https://bitpay.com/bitcoin-exchange-rates

Umm....how do you figure that "nobody" is using Mt Gox when it has, by far, the most trading volume of any exchange?

Saying that "everybody" uses it would have been less of an exaggeration.

And besides, if you want a BTC / GBP quote there aren't many places around to get that from aside from Gox

I agree that Gox shouldn't be the default price, but

This.

Also there are some people who want to know how far out of sync Gox is. Knowing how much of a premium #Goxfail is might be useful.
