Hey! Im new to the whole idea. Just kidding not that new. I am considering buying miner. I just got two problems. One is that the miner must be a usb miner. And the worst its got to be scrypt compatible which means its got to be able to mine litecoins and etc. Im curious t your guys thoughts. The last request is its got to be under a hundred per unit and worth the money. Well got any ideas?

Hmmm, If you are not so sure, You should obtain 7750 instead of others as SHA-256 method has a major problem which can be able to blow you up if you have little hashrate.
Why 7750 or (A85 system) first?
7750 only costs you just a hundred dollars (excluding tax, commission fee and etc.)
7750 does not need additional power, Just board power (Ensure 75W, which should be able to provide for all boards)
You are empty but you have been told the bitcoin can be important... I firstly heard this on March this year after a failure of funding for few important photos. During the time. I thought bitcoin was joke, But I have tested with GT430... You may know the story.
Currently ,The SHA-256 is just like "muscle", but it does not mean you can win the match. Scrypt differs, You still need the "muscle" But search more, which is roughly 1,000 times harder than the "muscle".
If you are too hurry, then obtain 7750 should be enough to solve your problem first as it is able to do two things, SHA-2 or Scrypt. Although 0.01BTC may need a week to generate during the scrypt mining process. You will need the coinwarz.com to help you to plan which should mine first.
Additionally, I have heard a group called scryptasic has been testing the SHA-256 array (which can be bitfury made) transformation with GPGPUs to do reasonable. Perhaps they have found the top secret of Scrypt model used so it is possible to? If it is , I shall obtain one to test the damn out.

There is no publicly available USB based miner that can do scrypt/litecoin. Your request for a USB miner, capable of doing litecoin, for under USD$100, is currently impossible to fill. Any sort of FPGA litecoin miner, when available, will require RAM as well as the FPGA, and will be over $100. Also, this does not yet exist in a public form. |

Well I got two choices. 5+ usb asic miners or 1 gpu because I dont want to invest too much. Any more ideas?

USB miners won't do scrypt. A GPU is not a USB device. Have you relaxed your original requirements? |

Ok so I understand that usb is a no go for me. Maybe in the future, *cough* 2 weeks, I might buy like 5. But I would like to buy something before I buy those. My question is would buying a gpu be worth it to mine litecoins or other scrypt or sha-256 coins? Is there any miner that's like what butterfly labs is offering that could mine other coins? What I mean is a box that's pretty much plug and mine. I was planning on using the Raspberry pi to run the stuff. So far you guys are giving me good ideas and I thank you for the good answers!

There are plenty of "plug and mine" boxes.
There are no "plug and mine" boxes available currently for anything that may remotely resemble a reasonable return in bitcoin.
Any "plug and mine" box that may actually be worth running is a preorder that may or may not ship.
