For me there's no connection in crypto if Chinese New Year came. We all know that there's a sudden increase of price in all coins when Chinese New Year came but for me it still no connection in crypto.

I think Chinese Lunar New Year does not have much impact on the crypto market. I think the law prohibiting ico and the trading floor of the Chinese government influenced the market quite large.

I also do not think that there is a connection between these events. Just coins are falling when investors begin to withdraw their means in order to fix profits. This withdrawal of funds can take place at any time, any day of the year.

Lunar New Year or China affect the economy. at this celebration usually people will more often shop culinary food and travel services. The people that are selling the coins should know that the price is going up. This could only be a temporary issue because Bitcoin is young.
