Buying Bitcoin, Selling Paypal:WTB Bitcoin and I'm paying with Paypal at a 1:1 rate, based on http://preev.com price. My paypal is verified, I can send the money as "Friends and Family" and the currency will be $USD. I'm a full member on bitcointalk, doing trades since 2013 ( including a trade with Cyrus, one of the admins on Bitcointalk ). Sure, that's totally doable. On Preev, 0.065 is $426 right now so +5% that would be $447. If you're ok with it, you can send the BTC. I'll get my Trezor and generate and address then PM you asap if you're still around  |

Sure, but escrow simply won't help you in this case, as Paypal can still be charged back. If you really want to use an escrow and pay him the fees, we can use one. Make sure to find one who has 50-100 Trust rating and is relatively known on bitcointalk (have recent active trades) |

Just did a transaction with what1005: my $575 for his 0.07214 You can find the reference and trust rating here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=893239That leaves me with slightly over $1.3k left on Paypal. @BrHH2 - The amount is too low, mate ( 0.00280548 would be around $20 ). I'm looking for transactions of at least $100-200, otherwise I'd have to do dozens of them in order to spend the whole $1.3k left on Paypal. Later edit: I've started taking requests for sums as low as $20-30 lately, so that should be ok aswell from now on, but you will pay the BTC fee ( and I pay the Paypal fee ). So when PMing me with the amount of BTC you have, make sure to first substract the fee that you'll be paying to the network (check that from your wallet ) and just let me know the exact amount that I will receive, then we calculate it at the preev.com rate and make the deal. @sarijaya4444 - I'm not using Paxful for two reasons: First is the fact that the premium fees there are CRAZY. I am NOT paying a 25% premium price, which was the lowest I've seen there for Paypal-BTC transactions, considering there are already much better deals here, on bitcointalk. Secondly, on Paxful I have 0 reputation, while here I am active for about 5 years, got 100% positive Trust rating and even dealt with one of the administrators of bitcointalk in the past. So, I have much more credibility and people interested to trade with me, under my conditions, with a better price here. Simple as that |

I see. I apologise for overseeing the other transactions. I still recommend that you be careful. Even if PayPal is disputable and reversible, I suggest never sending first to zero-trust members. There seems to be a quick way to convert transferred PayPal funds to money or coins. I am still trying to find out how it’s done. I saw a few shady threads about BTC being sold for PayPal, undeterred by the reversibility issue. Quickly withdrawing the money from the scammer’s PayPal account can’t be their way of doing it. It takes a few days for PayPal to actually execute the withdrawal process, during which time a dispute can stop it. |
