This is a very sad story ,You should never take your own life just because of the money.
Money could be replaced but your life isn't something that could be replaced.
You could earn it again you could gain the money that you lost.
I think they just have to look for something that would motivate them or to keep them away from being depress.
For me when ever I lose some money because of investment or in gambling I would just say to my self that,I earned that amount of money I could earn it again.

The rules should be quite simple. If you don't have the heart to HODL like a champion, then don't HODL. If you are easily swayed by emotions, and are seriously affected by fluctuations in BTC value, then just day trade, that way you can never lose all of your cash. That is sad. He was only 20 years old which is a pretty young age to kill yourself. I've seen some other people post suicidal thoughts in the forum. Some of the mods even removed a couple of them for some reason. I don't understand why people want to sensor such things. Even though things are uncomfortable or unpleasant it is important for people to understand the truth about what is going on. Also, if people are announcing suicidal thoughts it is a call for help. Even though it can be a bit annoying, it is still worth it to keep it and possibly save someone's life.

It is too bad this kind of thing happens. Imagine how many of those suicide victims didn't leave their private keys around for their loved ones to have. There are probably a whole bunch more bitcoins out there floating never to be seen again.

Even though the loss was the cause. Depression is what killed her/him; the intense and maddening feeling of emptiness and pointlessness in life.

Lesson learn from that situation-Never ever put your head about money, just come to think that we are living in this world to have a better life and have a beautiful family and not around by money. if we fail there is corresponding success.  Maybe the student feel depression because he has no companion and he keep burying himself only.

Losses in investment is not a reason to end his life. Although he already passed away, I only say this because I can't imagine to end a life in that reason. If his money gone because of his loses, if he is a pro trader or investor or a crypto pro, his not gonna do that. Many of us say, invest what you can afford to lose. In this kind of buuusiness we all know that we don't get a profit always, we just taking a risk to make our money profitable.

Unfortunately so many people make their ideal to be rich or successful in life by neglecting love and the other things that are worth more than success and are permanent so this is the main reason for suicides not the loss I think

Bitcoin and all other crypto currencies are very risky investment, its market is volatile and you may need to be fully ready and equipped, not just financially but mentally. In fact I had already heard of a South American man who had committed suicide a few years ago when the bitcoin suffered the drastic fall that led him to lose 90% of its value.
