after this major price correction. i want to see what are your ideas on this. lets say you bought bitcoin 2 years ago. you notice prices were high at 19,000$ should u sell or continue to hold? what are your thoughts after this huge correction?
it is probably too late to sell after holding since the 19000$ correction.
If i were in that situation, i should sell all my bitcoins. Because it's obviously the perfect time and price where holders have waiting for a long period of time. $19k is really a huge amount of money and it will gives a huge profit for those holders that bought their bitcoins 2 years ago before this $19k approach. I think the best thing to do is to buy in a verry low ampunt and sell in a high prise we must have to update the time every now and then to gain some profit because anytime the price of bitcoin may rise and we dont really have to wait for a long time if we can already gain in the present time depending on the price and it's profit.Because. all we have ever wanted here is profit and if we can gain today we don't have to hold and wait for a berry long time. |

It is a tough question but I will go to SELL LOW. Why? Because if I bought it at high price, there will be a time that it will depreciate because of its usage of mine. At least even if I sell it low i still have the money back even for small amount. If you buy high and not sell it or no one wants to buy what you are selling, there will be a loss. A big big loss of you. At least selling low will not a loss totally. Just a partial but at least there is something that brought back to you.

wtf ! buy high sell low .
it's really huge problem who dont know the trading or panic sellers making the very fast and they think they will lose all money all capitals when the market crash / red and than yes you must to sell it but this is not good trading system
Your emotion will lead you either to make profit or to make you loss. Its clearly state that buying at a higher price and selling it at a low is a reaction of people who are on panic, well I hope that you learn from that experience and do better next time. Buy low and Sell high this is the easiest strategy on trading you just need to understand. Agreed, if your emotion leads you into panic situation because the value drops rapidly well for sure in the end you will loss of money. But if we control our emotion even it drops the price value we keep stand still and remain calm and wait for the value increase well it will be done for sure. |

yes suppose to include "hold" in the groove if you want to have a lot of profits or you can make a combination in your trading with the way you play buy hold sell and play buy and open a sell order to wait for your bitcoin sold. |

Buying of btc itself means that you believe in btc and its potential to grow in future. So buying now and due to some reason if market falls it is better to hold rather than to sell in a loss as always market will rebounce unless if a huge impact is created in the market due tot negative news. In such cases you can sell and buy back later at lower price. |

of course I would not do that even though the current bitcoin price condition is decreasing and very unstable. I will keep the bitcoin not going to sell it when the price is down. I will be eagerly waiting for the bitcoin price to go up. but I will buy bitcoin when its price goes down so that later when bitcoin price goes up I can sell it with got many advantages

This is the right principle, to buy low and to sell high. If the price is not yet that high and you still have not yet gain more income, just wait for its price to goes up. Just be patient because bitcoin is bitcoin. It will surely goes up even if its price goes down terribly. |

If you did not cash out during the ATH of 19K and held on to it up until this date, it's certainly not a a wise decision to sell at the moment for it is just a guaranteed loss. No one really expected the value to go down this low; and I for one, was not tempted to sell during ATH thinking it could go up even higher. I should have sold back then and just bought back in during significant dips. It was a golden opportunity missed; I mean who doesn't want to make huge profits? Then again, I don't let it get in to me because I'm sure that bitcoin will soon recover. I learned my lesson and I'll make sure to avoid doing the same mistakes again.

buy at a very high price then will sell when the price has gone down .. it is a very silly act, it will make you become poor because of losing a lot of money .. hold for a few months because all will be stable again, then you will rich because getting a lot of profit ..

Right now bitcoin is down we should hold it for the meantime. If we buy at high price and sell it in a low price that's not the strategy in investing. You just throw away your hard earned money. Just don't panic if bitcoin is down, we should wait because bitcoin is volatile it will not stay at low. We should patiently wait for the price to go up.

Well, better to hold our coin this time because bitcoin price has on going correction. We just wait for a weeks to provide a better price in the market so that it can earned nice profit unlike if you push and get panic to trade it, you can lose your capital of being invest. If i bought Bitcoin 2 years ago yes of course i will auto sell my Bitcoin if its reach 19k USD. The profit you will get on that is very huge and if you did that you'll be happy now because you can buy lots of Bitcoin because of the price drop. Then i will hold again if i bought around 8k USD with my profit of my Bitcoin 2 years ago at 19k USD. Rinse and repeat. |

I think this idea should be corrected. As far as I know, one must sell at the time that the price is high and everyone is on hype mode and one must buy when the price is low --this way you'll get like a surplus price. That is why there were so many users at the time that bitcoin dipped they bought and invested all the more. Now if you have bitcoin, all you have to do is to hold. Be emotionless and think that this too shall pass. There are certain events in which one must hold, sell and also buy.

It is not advisable to buy at high prices and sell at a low price unless you really need money very urgently, but if the reason is you panic or fear the price of coins can not increase again, then I would further recommend to stay hodl or throw to coins other.

Not recommended to buy at high price and sell low it's very not profitable even you gained loss. The true is you buy at cheapest price and sell at high price. Or you can holding it for long term for good price.

What does it mean? confusing, and buy high sell low who will do it, then better to hold it, different if you buy randomly in high price and suddenly the price fall then I suggest to sell, it's not called cut-lose. |

no right answer on this because I think it depends on what the investors want to do but if I am that investor maybe when bitcoin reach 19k USD since I bought bitcoin for the last 2 years I am going to sell it because we know that bitcoin is in a low value on that year so big profit gained if you sell in 19k USD.

i was holding bitcoin 3 years ago and sold it at 19,500 as it reached the highest price possible on that phase, now that bitcoin drop the price and people are getting panic it is time for me to buy and hold. people get to nervous with bitcoin price they just see the pump and can't accept the dip. Didn't they notice that when bitcoin fall, after that it rises more than triple it fall? if you are new on this community you will be same like others cutting the rope to get out of bitcoin but if you are on these for such a long time i know that you will buy more and never sell. Wow. Good for you! You made a great profit for sure. And yeah, right now you can buy bitcoin and wait for its rise. It really takes a lot of patience in this community. And you must also be a risk taker in order to gain and familiarize how the market works. It will take patience but it will prove as good source of profit as well, if you will hold for some time you will see the price of bitcoin increasing more and more so I would also say that holding is good for you instead of buying high and selling low, as much as the time passing bitcoin is getting expensive and here we will get high profit for waiting for small time with your already invested bitcoin. |
