The sharp drop in prices of BTC and ETH is clearly not conducive to the raising of the ICO market.
Because the market is generally bad, many of these ICO tokens are lower than the cost price after the exchange, and fewer and fewer people will participate in the ICO crowdfunding.

agree, i think the drop of bitcoin and ETH is not favorable in any ICO's because the investors are often used to fund new crypto currency showed reluctant to invest in a certain project due to the falling is so deep, thinking that it might be loss

of course it will be really impact, ICOs that is running will adjust in the end. Of course before they appear they already count the profit in certain price but will not be impact when price PUMP.

This drop will make investor cry, cause they bough it when ethereum and bitcoin have high price and now the price dropping. thats mean they will have same token from ICO with same amount but less value.

I think that any ICO project should not rely only on ETH/NEO and other crypto. Some funds for a short or even middle term work should be stored in USD. This is the most correct strategy for a normal business imo.

China has banned ICO and crypto trading, this will have an impact on prices as well as some ICO projects. Because many investors come from Asia, especially China. The thing to remember is to keep thinking positive, hopefully this is just FUD.

I have been wondering lately what the effects of this huge decline in btc and ETH ( other cryptos too)prices will have on ICOs, especially those concluded when prices are high but have not moved to the next phase of their project execution?
maybe yes, especially if they use the USD as a benchmark. when ICO raised they can earn a lot of money in USD. but if they have not sold the funds that they get and the price fall a lot, it can caused their USD becomes less

Surely these two has a lot of impact to ICOs especially when an ICO has reached its hardcap which means the project is a good investment sometimes when btc or eth prices goes down the ICOs hardcap would be adjusted because the value of eth has decreased and that is not a good thing to most of the investors, there will be some adjustments to the coins you will get or there will be some delays in the project.

I don't think the drop in the price will give any big impact at the mentilty of the bitcoiners whoa re legend in this field .
Because the main reason is that most of the people who are in bitcoin from.old time are much experienced to handle such dump and pump .
In a better article I read once that you will never get loss until you will sell your coin at loss , so here no doubt that the values are dropped in Fiat but not decrease in the amount of the btc or eth , surely they will get up in price soon and everyone will have lots of profit .
And I don't think that the ICOs will stop Thier sell of tocken for any phase for long time because they know very well that at the dump of the price they will get more investment because people can easily buy more etherium and bitcoin for the investment in next next phase .

It could have an upside in that people might be willing to invest a bit more ETH with it being lower.

the drop in price of BTC and ETH will affect the price of the token that will make the investor to think twice on investing on it. for investor they have to risk if it "crash" but a chance if they buy low and sell high.

In general, falling prices for these two cryptocurrencies will lead to redistribution of funds on the market. Most investors will want to invest in more expensive currencies that will lead to a cheaper fall.

ICO are affected too because they rely their price on bitcoin and Ethereum. If Bitcoin and Ethereum continue to fall the pricing will not be consistent specially if there is a big price drop happened.

Now it's best to invest in the old good coins, not in those that just appeared. For example, Ethereum, I am sure that it will recover in the course.

I don't know. Some ICOs have said during the big price rise that they would reduce their hard cap because ETH is now worth so much more... but now that it has fallen a lot, that means their hard caps have fallen too.
The volatility is a problem for caps to be set in crypto.

I think they'll raise the prices of their coins in crypto. Otherwise, they will collect much less and will not be able to implement their project.

You can often hear that it's a bad time to invest when the crypto market falls. But the same thing is said when bitcoin and Ethereum have a high price.
If you want to invest in a strong and profitable project, then any time it's good for you.

Sure the latest February drop was not favorable for ICOs, but it will not affect their work. The projects will be working and offer their tokens for ETH and BTC.Thus investors won’t feel changes at all.
