China will block all sites related to cryptocurrency and ICO transactions, including foreign sites.
Ads on cryptocurrency and ICO disappeared from Baidu and China's Weibo
China applies a variety of controls to ICOs and domestic and foreign crypto trading platforms, including a decision to ban all other related businesses, such as local and foreign crypto trading sites.
This statement is seen as a "knock-out" to completely stamp out the domestic cryptocurrency market.

Can you link some source regarding on this news? on where china do already come into this state where they do impose more stricter about banning crypto and regulating some ICO. If it does then we cant do anything about it but would really see less adoption but yet its not still the actual reason on putting crypto into an end as long theres still people who do involve on these things dying isnt still possible on these days.

First Facebook, now China. This may be just another FUD in order to create some negativity for crypto or bitcoin. I don't think that this move would completely stamp out the domestic cryptocurrency market in China. There's still the presence of miners and crypto-users within the country will still continue to use crypto despite the numerous bans. It's fishy that news about bans have been sprouting about lately. It's likely that this has made the price of bitcoin to go down.

It is the ownership of the govt if they want to allow it or not. Though the technology of block chain can be used as well other than this coins so the denial for this govt to ban such currency is that it can be misfired in their economy as money could be send outside their country easily and to avoid such things they are banning the sites and ICO.

Indeed, such bad news has had a very bad impact on bitcoin price and cryptocurrency price. I lost half of my fortune in these days. Sad

China is just too greedy country they don't want their country to have another source of income unless that they will imposed tax on it, and as a matter of fact they just want to have their own coin that can be bought worldwide. Anyway, I don't think that China can blocked all sites that are related to cryptocurrencies.

We should be expecting this whole thing to come in China as the government is really bent to stamp out any traces of cryptocurrency influence from the country. Now, it can be told the the only cryptocurrency that will happen in China is the one sponsored and issued by the government itself and nothing else. Soon, all Bitcoin mining operations have to ceased doing business in China and should relocate somewhere else. Now, anybody still dreaming that a government could never ban Bitcoin should wake up and realized this great truth: the government has all the power in itself to stop and even prosecute those involved in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general. Bitcoin is actually an anti-government kind of thing so in the mindset of China why allowed it to flourish and become an uncontrollable thing?

Now the question is: Will this whole thing render Bitcoin to have no real and beautiful future? Or is there really a way to counteract the government and make it agree to allow Bitcoin?

They are not totally greedy since they do know their own capability when it comes to money and i do strongly believe that this actions had been made is purely concerened on protecting its citizens and at the same time they dont like for their money or finances would really be putted into another indsutry this is why they do decide such blockage but one things assured on where no matter how they do oppose cryptomarket it will stood strong.

The Chinese government ONLY cares about itself, and not about what its people do. If they really cared about their people, even if it is just a little bit, they would allow everyone to enjoy far more freedom than is the case right now.

I'm living in a civilized country with at least a decent form of financial possibilities, which means that if I so wish, I can transfer all my wealth to another country without any problems.

Everything you say about China that it wants to protect its citizens, can basically be applied to any other country, which by your logic would somewhat justify banning everything they deem to be a potential threat.

Japan is a great example when it comes to exposing how bad China actually is when it comes to allowing its citizens to enjoy more overall freedom. The Chinese government knows that it's just a muppet show.

It's not for nothing that people want to park their wealth in a different country, think about that.

I don't know why news from China can not still be disregarded. The world can do without the input from China on bitcoin as it was shown when bitcoin was banned there last year. Where countries like Japan and Venezuela are embracing bitcoin, China is shorting its economy by distancing itself from the proceeds of the bitcoin economy. Whatever scares China with bitcoin is not far from the Chinese inability to control the bitcoin as against its local currency, Yuan. Communism truly sucks in modern economy.

I have been asking the same question myself. China is so 2017...it is about time we left this whole thing behind. We already are aware that the government will do everything in its power to stamp out cryptocurrency from China (though many are doubting if the government can be 100% successful in this regard as the modern Chinese are not anymore the stamp pad generations decades ago now they have their own minds already).

Now, we have to respect their government since it was their own decision that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies should not be allowed to survive and flourish in China. We have already proven that Bitcoin can all go and move on without China so this should not have value at all as far as the cryptocurrency market is concerned.

Well we have different perspective into anything but im just saying with just my pressumptions and i might be wrong with that view and yes you do have a point that a country shouldnt really be too strict into anything and such blockage wont be right to be implemented directly which they saw its already a threat for them. Government of china likes to control everything which is expected to have that kind of type of governance.

I believe china is a shit nation with their form of government. They are the nation which is always taking for granted every thing that they can possibly control and gain big. So what ever decision that they made by now is just a temporary action and will not last permanently. I do believe that their government is intentionally made such kind of decision just to get more from every business through internal agreement.

I think china is a big big big whale, who want to get huge profits by buying bitcoin at low price by giving negative news. Like we saw back in september 2017.

A news item on 5/2:
The recent acquisition of the Chinese company BTCC, one of the three largest Bitcoin exchange operators in the country, by a blockchain investment fund in Hong Kong is the latest example that confirms the Chinese authorities' willingness to put an end to the business of cryptocurrencies. After the purchase, the company will focus exclusively on the international market and abandon its business of exchanging virtual currencies in mainland China, where the Government continues its efforts to put an end to this business. China has so far been the leading location for the cryptocurrency exchange business and hosts the world's largest community of Bitcoin "miners", computers that update and approve bitcoin transactions through blocks that are linked to a chain of data. According to estimates of January of the British consultant Capital Economics, until recently, 70% of the Bitcoin mining in the world was done in the Asian giant. "Most of the Bitcoin trading was done in renminbi (the Chinese currency, also called yuan) until the government began to prevent it, now the proportion of mining that takes place in China has fallen to 50% and currencies which are used are the dollar, the euro, the yen and the South Korean won, "the firm says.

Any Confirmed Source of this information?

No. It's impossible to figure out what's real and what not in a market where even the authorities aren't shy of playing the manipulation game. South Korea has been a perfect example of how even government officials can't be trusted.

Have you been living under a rock or what? Chinese exchanges were forced to shut down a good number of months ago, so that does in fact imply that China has been cracking down on everything related to all types of exchange based trading platforms and services. People after that reverted to their local markets in order to bypass these restrictions, and even to Hong Kong based exchanges. Currently China is trying to intensify their anti crypto regulations, which basically means that they (if we have to believe various unconfirmed sources) are looking to banish everything related to crypto in the coming months/years.
