As we all know, bitcoin price is currently falling. Is there any factor/cause of that?
This is not any factor But every year crypto market is down in First two months because some financial situation. This year many countries are banned in the cryptocurrency then again they fix some taxes and some countries are announced it is not suitable our country so they are not approving legally in cryptocurrency this also one of the issues in the market. Some hacking issues also affected in the market then lighting network is one of the reason.
yes maybe that is one of the causes of the price down. and the price also depends on demand and supply. if the supply of goods is low and demand is very much, then the price will increase, and vice versa if the supply of lots and demand a little, then the price will decrease.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

I began to think it was a normal bitcoin adjustment, and later I realized it wasn't what I thought.
In the currency tumbled, appeared a lot of bad news about the currency, some news or even false, people see the fake news, panic, they sold their COINS

People cause that because when people decide to sell, others panic and they sell too because they are afraid they might loose everything. It shouldn't be this way

One of the biggest factor on the recent loss of bitcoins value can actually be attributed to the final closure of all bitcoin exchanges throughout China. This means that a huge amount of bitcoin is being disposed or transferred to other exchanges to be sold. Due to the sudden release of those huge volume of btc the buy orders are consumed thus causing a massive downfall to the bitcoins market value.

Bitcoin and the crypto market are in serious trouble. I think there are forces that want to capture the bitcoin value, they exploit, hold and release large quantities. At the same time, the bans issued by the governments of countries around the world, the panic and fear of investors, they constantly sell BTC on the exchange. I think these factors directly or indirectly affect the value of bitcoin.

Awesome! Thank you for enlighten me.
I think this is a tradition maybe because every year it happens like this in the first 2 months the price of all coins will fall, because this investors will soon sell their bitcoin, because they are afraid of more loss. the decline in bitcoin prices is now also due to the issue that some countries ban bitcoin in the country.

The regulating and banning of bitcoin and other alts  makes the people of that country to sell their coins resulting to bigger supply of bitcoin in the market and system. And according to the law of supply and demand, the greater the supply and the lower the demand, the lower the price, and vice versa. Hence, resulting to the drop in price of bitcoin. The whales or the people who have big amount of bitcoin somehow controls its price by selling their bitcoin to their fellow whales and then buy it again so that the price will favor them.

I won't call it factors but major Contributors to the recent dip. Well, some claims the China recent bans and shut down of exchanges did caused it; it might be True, can't say. And the others said it could be the recent ban from banks to costumers for using their credit cards to buy bitcoin; it might be true, I can't say. All I know is, even if the price dips or pumps, I am HODLing my coins.

According to my idea social media is the major factor due to which price of bitcoin is highly affected because almost all the world are involving in social media and through social media advertisement bitcoin have got large of new customers because new people are getting knowledge about bitcoin so in last some weeks people are claiming that facebook have stop advertising bitcoin so due to which demand is decreased and price have also decreased.

There are many factors that affects the downfall of bitcoin, it includes the negative news circulating in the internet and televisions.  While experts are pinning this latest dip on factors including government threats to regulate crypto trading and recent UK bans on purchasing digital currencies with credit cards. Not to mention china who started blocking anyone in the country from accessing websites that provide cryptocurrency trading. And whole lot more factors that caused its downfall. Despite an increasingly bearish market, many experts are confident that bitcoin can recover from its poor start this year.

Well, we all know that this is normal, this is normal in market. Downfall and Up price is all normal if we experienced downfall that is not stable at all, we need to wait for the rise of price again. All we need to do know is to relax and don't look at your wallet or blockfolio then sleep dont think about it. Btc is soon tose again and lets all hope about that guys Smiley good luck to us.

There are multiple reasons for the failure in the crypto market. People return from holidays and they usually buyout money for gifts, vacation and what not. This was followed by ban of bitcoin in some countries followed by ban in cryptocurrency exchanges, raids, taxation and a lot of other things. Things like this usually creates a panic among a section of investors leading to selling of a large number of coins or holding back for a moment with no transactions to show. The reduction in number of trasactions as well as selling of coins in large number usually leads to the fall tha we are seeing but worry not my friend, it will go up agian in a few months. Just hold on!

many people do not understand about bitcoin fluctuations but they already buy bitcoin when the price is still at the level of $ 15,000 and above, they are only inspired from a trend. when bitcoin prices start to fall, they begin to panic sell, and further aggravated by FUD. this could also be one factor of bitcoin price weakening.

That's why the education of Bitcoin are very needed. I agree with you many new investor which coming in last Dec-Jan are buying Bitcoin without much knowing about Bitcoin volatile and it's history. But, based on some market data that Bitcoin always get dip in Jan-March every year and will be recovery after Q1, but those people doesn't not realizing it as a matter of course, so they panicked and sold their assets simultaneously.

Sure a bunch of factors affects Bitcoin fall. The news from China now has the worst impact on it: https://www.investopedia.com/news/china-plans-crack-down-international-cryptocurrency-trading-its-citizens/

Basing the price on historical data is a little rash. Especially if you don’t know the reason behind that behavior.

Case in point, almost everyone is surprised by the recent drop in price. Almost everyone expected the price to keep going up.

The main factor in the fall and growth of the crypto currency is most likely the manipulation of the market by whales.

Yeah there is. The bank of China on the mining of bitcoin is the biggest reason for such downfall in this case. Now a days we all know the actual war is all about economics. Whosoever will control the economics of world that become the world super power? China was trying to get that position but due to the largest population they couldn’t afford the cost of electricity used for mining, so they ban bitcoins.

Negative information that appeared in mass media (about Bitcoin, sure) affected it a lot, and bans of this crypto in several countries played the worst role.
