Bitcoin is right at this moment US$8230.
By midnight GST tomorrow, will the value of Bitcoin be lower or higher than that?

A very significant proportion of the posts in this forum are people who are making predictions about the future value of Bitcoin. Often quite short term predictions. So, I think that quite a lot of people care. |

Hopefully we will be going sideways for a while, this means the market is stabilizing...
Chances are we will end lower.
I'm hoping we hist $7600 and then go up above $9500, effectively making a W pattern and going back into a slow bull market again.

I'm hoping we hist $7600 and then go up above $9500, effectively making a W pattern and going back into a slow bull market again.
Would you make a prediction for 12pm tomorrow night (Tuesday)? Compared to $8230? |

I think around 6.5k. It could go either way I suppose. But I think it will go down before it goes up.

I feel it will slide a little further to about $7500 at midnight GST tomorrow. Then we will see a very slow recovery, over the next 4 weeks till the end of the Chinese New Year celebrations at the start of March. After that I think we will see more normal market and growth. Just imo. |

Why are you so worried about the price tomorrow? Giving a short period of time to bitcoin to recover isn't enough. But I'll give a decent speculation that the price can go stable again at $9,000. Bitcoin needs to take step at a time. Think positive that bitcoin will be on a higher rates tomorrow. But I think it will go down before it goes up.
It has been down since then so that's enough and bitcoin now is ready to go up. |

I'm not worried about the price tomorrow, but I'm noting the very large number of short term predictions that don't come true. And where people can see them not coming true. Hence, I was curious about collecting some short-term predictions. I think they will match my belief that no-one really knows what the price will be, up or down, even a couple of days in the future. There is more randomness in this market than I think many admit. |

You are correct, it is very random and will remain so while people are scared. Everybody needs to calm down, take a few deep breaths and relax. It will come back, they all will. As said by many, it just needs time..... and patience, something I do not have much of, but I must be now ....  |
