It is already 2018 and bitcoin may try to reach the $20000 again in this year but it hard to predict when that happen again as bitcoin seem to be slowed down. The growth of some altcoins may have an effect on bitcoin as funds temporarily transferred to some popular altcoins undergoing a price uptrend. It still remains to be if bitcoin can repeat its achievement last year.

How so? People only lose if they end up selling at a loss. If you just keep holding your coins, which is the only right thing to do, then you won't experience any actual losses. People for once need to take distance from being so fiat centric - losses on paper in terms of USD value isn't a loss. If you bought 1BTC, regardless of the price, you'll always have that 1BTC. People were laughing at others for having bought at $10,000 when we reached that level for the first time, and look at who's laughing now?

Including you!  and as well me. We are not exempted during these times and the best thing that we can do is to endure the pain, I know it's that hard to accept but we can't do something about it.

Fresh money are coming to the exchanges every day. There are always ups and downs but hey the crypto-world is winning even if you personally don't make profit.
Back to the bitcoin topic. it may hit 20 000 some day, but not today, not its on the downtrend. If if falls too much people will begin to buy hoping to reach again 20k so, it's like a game, you cannot predict, but you can hold and pray

It is extremely possible, look at bitcoins right now. It has grown 10% just today and there are still 5 days to go. It just needs to recover 4k and it is already near where it used to be at 19k. I think there is enough time to pump bitcoins to reach 20k in just a few days.
