Some of these merit postings are bat-crap hilarious.

You have to love google translate.

These are clipped from actual postings in the Meta section, and they all made me laugh.

(If you recognize yourself, don't get mad!)

Please post your funniest findings:
_______________________________________________________________________________ ____
-I guees only theymos who knows the clear whole scope of merit. I do believed that merit given by him is quite creepy to all unanimous members.

-well, actually i am not good poster so this merit system will put me in problem anyway.

-I hope you can petrify me

-The forum becomes full with empty content posts. So i do believe in this new technic which represents a control system that fixes the upgrade criteria

-but must be qualified and really beguna for others. so I think this is very appropriate with the merit

-This concludes that the system is absolute and can not be jeopardized, to think that they've already made a defense mechanism to the system.

-Petulant, self-entitled brat.  You get an F in logic

-Overall I am also happy with the new merit system. As more and more people start to learn about the new rules, they will think twice before making useless posts.

-Although I agree that this prevents everyone of us from posting nonsense, I'm just not confident enough in my posts that they are merit-worthy.

-I don't have any merit to sell but I will lease my forum name for 10btc a month

-I think you cant sell your merit. Because for me merit can give you by the founder of the bitcoin.

-I guess if peopole start selling it they are going to get some bad trust from Lauda. So, it's highly unlikely.

-Yes, merit is not for sale because selling merits isn't prohibited or acquired. I think those bitcointalk users who sell bitcoin will be punished, I don't think so.

-weighing merit that is nearing the next rank as I live looking for merit to be able to ride a full member

I can't seem to find the humor in those.
There is no "fun" in ignorance, only stupid laughing at stupidity.
But if you manage to make a meme about that, it may became funny.

All people in this forum have different mother tongue. Maybe not all members in this forum learn english well, in my oppinion this does not need to be laughed. Not all languages have the same sentence structure as english. I understand if anyone makes some in the sentence structure that whey typed. I have no problem with that.

If I can only merited this post. Every person's ignorance to make fun with is not good though as every people in this forum are once newbie/beginner. Lucky for the OP to got Full Member rank before this Merit system but making fun with people that is low rank is degrading for me or I just got butthurt.

I do not think that it is right to make fun of the weakness of a person. We are not kids here, you are expected to show a little more maturity. Just because you have got good writing skills, it does not mean that you have no other flaws.

I think this one is funny as well: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2894549.0. Why don't you focus on balancing these with some serious discussions here ?

If people can't speak English then they should stick to their local section as that's what they're there for. The biggest issue of this forum is it's dominated by people trying to speak English who really can't and that's why the quality of discussion is so bad and why the merit system was introduced.

We are not kids here,

I wouldn't be so sure of that. I think the majority of the people who are causing the most issues here are kids who can't speak English very well. You can tell by the sort of posts and threads they make that they're often very young.
