I've been searching for ICOs for a few days and there seems to be many cases of scams and hacks which kinda scares me. Obviously, there is no 100% certainty which is going to be a successful one but is there any way to identify which ones are at least going in the right direction? The first one I looked at was Mossland's Whitepaper and they seemed good with solid community. Or should I just buy BTC or ETH? Any suggestions and ideas would be very helpful!
Certainly, when talking about ICOs, there is no time to treat as good time to invest because ICOs are a staple. You can invest at them any time because there are a lot of ICOs going out in the market on a daily basis. It just depends on you on what product or concept you want to invest in, and how long your time table is for a project. Therefore, I would say that it would depend on your checklist of what kind of ICOs you want to venture in. Scams are always there for sure, but it is up to the joiner to sift through all them to select the best projects. |

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

There's no exact time on when to invest, you should be investing based on your belief of the project. Takes time and patience to be successful in this league, don't fall for the hypes. Good investment needs good patience and thorough/extensive research.

Investing in ICo do not depends on the actually price of bitcoin or ethereum at the moment. If the ICo is a good project, there is always a good time to invest. Because most ICo you have the token price in USD, so it do not depend on how much cryptocurrencies you will spend on the project. You will not get your coins or tokens depend cheaper or expensive when the bitcoin pris is high or low.

But for sometimes we have to make a short time investment in ICOs as we do not know that the project will get success or not. So if we will buy coins at the initial period of the ICO when we will be awarded with bonus then after the end of ICO when the coin is listed in exchange we can sell them immediately earning a good profit. |

Dude this is really a tough question and there is no one who can respond to this with certainty, as if you asked me couple weeks ago I would have said that its now or never to invest, while now I would say it is that time, and who knows what the next week will bring.

I personally trade less due to market instability and invest more in ICO where prices tend to be less affected, so as long as you find great projects that have great potential, u’re good to go! of course do your own research or read tons of reviews 😁

Personally, I think It's hard to invest on Ico coins because now the average Ico Project is often delayed or extending the time is so difficult to... choose a good one can not necessarily be because many are pending,
You better understand and decide whether the investment can make a profit or not.

It's ture about short time ICO investment. But from other side such immediate coin dumps, right after ICO ends, seriously affect the price, which later can significantly increase. And yes, it is a good time to find the right ICO and invest into it. 2018 - is the ICO year. |

It is hard to detect such ICO with great growth potential, and when you detect one, you might fail to invest because all whales are waiting like you, however, must of good projects prefer to raise money from VC companies now. |

Agree, we have to find the potential about the coin while investing in the ICO. Always we have to find good altcoin which will give good return in long term because without giving any profits, it is not good investing into it. |

The time for ICO investment now is a very steady process. But, if you are a regular inveestors of the ICO program then make up your mind to be remain invested for a longer period of time. Because of the market bearishness, this is affected by the cryptocurrency market. But, if you are in gain after the listing then suddenly take the profit and sell your all coin.

Since there were many ICO scam as of now, you better buy BTC now and hold it for a while.. soon the btc will rise and you will profit more.. |
