I've been searching for ICOs for a few days and there seems to be many cases of scams and hacks which kinda scares me. Obviously, there is no 100% certainty which is going to be a successful one but is there any way to identify which ones are at least going in the right direction? The first one I looked at was Mossland's Whitepaper and they seemed good with solid community. Or should I just buy BTC or ETH? Any suggestions and ideas would be very helpful!

investing into an ICO right now is a bit risky, since when the bullrun starts you can be sure most of the good coins already existing will go up alot, and people won't really be interested in going into ICOs and missing out on the bullrun

It is a good idea if you will make investment with ICOs. There are still ICOs that are profitable and promising. You can also get many bonuses if you invested in early time of the sale. You can ensure your profit by having a lot of knowledge.

I think that, as the market has started to recover, now is a very good time to invest into icos. But now, you need to be picky on projects you intend to invest into. Pick projects that has top notch team and great idea with good use cases. That's the goal

I believe there is no proper timing of ICO investment. 2018 has been a god year for ICOs with a number of them launching their projects.  what matters is not the timing but the project you invest on. if you put your money in a poorly managed project with a product that doesn't really have proper use in the market, it will fail no matter the time at which you joined the ICO,  a good project however will make you good returns. and maybe now that the market is recovering, its advisable to join ICOs with good project plans.

It's better to rely on those tested coins like bitcoin or ethereum , those coin has a good reputation since it's all started so you dont need to worry anymore whether your investment is in good hands or not and aside from that bitcoin and ethereum has a good future in the market so it is much better than anything else.

I think this is the perfect time to invest in ICO. because while there are many ICOs that exist and increasingly make us free to choose. but must remain selective when looking to invest in ICO. because if one select the project then yes have to get ready money that we invest will be loss.
