Is now a good time to invest in ICO?

I think currently is the worst time to participate in ICOs because most of people currently hold back and even if the ICO will be successful, future of tokens is still cloudy.

I've been searching for ICOs for a few days and there seems to be many cases of scams and hacks which kinda scares me. Obviously, there is no 100% certainty which is going to be a successful one but is there any way to identify which ones are at least going in the right direction? The first one I looked at was Mossland's Whitepaper and they seemed good with solid community. Or should I just buy BTC or ETH? Any suggestions and ideas would be very helpful!

to me in this present predicament i don't suggest you should invest in any ico, i would like to buy eth and btc this will be will be helpful to you and very clear that they are already in the market, you can as well trade them at any given point of time.

i think better to wait for the end of the ico and buy the first big dip, almost every token has the dip before it goes up!
So if you do not have a big bonus and you do not get in early , better buy ETH or BTC.

In my opinion anytime is a perfect time to invest in the ICO of your desire, I mean once you find a really good project that you think is worth a shot then by all means, support it and invest an amount you can afford to lose. Nowadays is definitely not the best time to invest even in a high-rated project. Look at the recent icos, almost all tokens are traded significantly below its ico prices.
