Neo/Bee should be accounting in two currencies i.e. BTC and Euros. For all statutory reporting you will have to convert to Euros (unless you will simply ignore the law). You could easily therefore issue shares and denominate them in Euros. A fixed percentage of the company is the same irrespective of the currency the share is theoretically denominated in. What people pay for those shares will be fixed in BTC, but vary in Euros.
How will the current 'profit shares' be accounted for in the Euro reported statutory balance sheets. I assume your advisers (PwC?) will have provided written opinions on this that you can share........?

Coopers do not advise us, BTC is not a currency in Europe so it is currently treated as an asset, when reporting annual accounts. We are pushing for it to be considered a financial instrument as per the BaFIN clarifications.
We are somewhat writing the handbook for Cypriot accounting when it comes to Bitcoin and accounting.

Well, that's a false claim isn't it. I have posted a rebuttal (awaiting moderation I'm told). EDIT: They pulled my post (presumably because I said they should do some research rather than just reprint press releases)...pretty lame.

That's all we've heard here(on this thread). I wouldn't think any different. There are conferences, press releases, and workshops scheduled for the 23rd and 24th. Sounds like 'it's a go' on the 24th.

Listen guys. I just got an idea.
Don't you see connection between current malleability issues and Bitfunder ? Maybe Bitfunder was first victim of "malleability feature" in bitcoin protocol? I know you can't transfer any coins between wallets without confirmations of the network ... UNTIL you don't use custom made software with hot wallets and off chain transactions in your system which allows exactly this kind of instant transfers, which are crucial for exchanges like bitfunder.
I just remembered : "The bitcoins are simply not there." - Danny
I know this is wrong thread for this, but i want to address NEOBEE developers to watch out for this in creating software for NEOBEE operations. Thanks

The "Gox" problem has been addressed by our developers and it will not affect any of our technical operations.

In other words, what is essential for us shareholders, is that : If Danny and co. knew about this issue 2 months ago, the whole NEOBEE was very well prepared and awaiting BTC crash. Possible in unregulated market? Sure. Illegal? No. Are we going to profit from this? IDK but I doubt that anybody else besides individuals behind this theater will profit.
That silence around finally make sense.
EDIT : Its good to be prepared for situation that Havelock is in trouble right now and they will potentially run with remaining BTCs and lock shares (look at recent SR2 bs news). I hope not, but who knows, history teaches us. So TAT, please make backup of database and I suggest to halt all share transfers until the malleability issue is done and we have a clear statement from Havelock that they are not affected in any way by malleability. I don't want to spread panic, but I am tired to see that community is losing coins because of this kind of 3rd party bullshits since 2011.
Also its very suspicious that Havelock still didn't implement the feature, that owner of shares can lock btc address to account. So our shares are not registered to btc address there, but to email.

I wish people would do some reading about the malleability issue rather resort to comments like this. Read the interview with Greg Maxwell for a start and also http://falkvinge.net/2014/02/11/the-embarrassing-fact-mtgox-left-out-of-their-press-release/IMHO a lot of vendors, exchanges etc just haven't been doing house keeping. Once Gox spread the news malleability has become a new source of exploit for the kiddyscriptors as well as a convenient excuse for scam artists. NeoBee has obviously kept up to date with its BTC clients but rather than say well done for being conscientious bitcoin.newsfeed (who lets face it sees the negative in everything) sees it as some sort of conspiracy.

I think it's set up so that TAT does get a list of Havelock NEOBEE passthru owners twice daily.
