No doubt - it`s totally general thing! I always read WPs before investing. For an example I read DEBITUM whitepaper already before participate in it's ICO because whitepaper gives a prespective about the goals, the notion behind the project and roadmap idea of the project. Participation by investing on ICOs is safe but before invest have to do the research, consult with other people before investing anywhere.

yes, of course, you can see a lot of important information that is written on the whitepaper, like public profile, their platform, and a lot more. reading it can be helpful to decide if its worth to join on a certain campaign.

I go through the ICO news site, particularly https://tokenmarket.net. The whitepapers are usually very technical to understand. The ICO sites explain the necessary information in details. This is why I usually ask the admins of various ANN threads the purpose of their projects and to explain them in layman terms.
If there's an explainer video, I watch it.

Offcourse, specially if I work for someone it's a must do, other than from working for ICO's, I read some others if I find them interesting, or if I don't have a clue what they are doing, so I go just straight to whitepaper, but mostly I get the good sweet juicy info's from discort, telegram. I don't bother with ICO's without whitepapers..

Investing in an ICO is very risky so you have to be willing to give it some time to do a thorough research and that includes reading whitepapers as well. If you do not have the time and energy to do that then maybe you should try something else like trading or invest in coins long term.

I sometimes don't when I suddenly got too lazy, but if you really want to make a big investment on that project make sure you read the whole whitepaper so you won't regret at the end. But when just joining bounty campaigns, website and announcement is enough for me to understand few stuffs related to it. The whitepaper is the most important part of a project because it consists everything, so I suggest to don't miss it out when making a huge investment.

You may not have read the whitepaper because you are not a big investor yet. I think you are a new member of the forum. If you start investing with large amounts of money you will understand the importance of whitepaper

To read and understand the whitepapers you can try to find the ICO's unique futures on it,  how it works, how to secure, and i  I'll look at the official video to know more about the ICO project wants to do because I think this parts are the most usefull parts of a read whitepaper and doing speculation by read the graph and by the project make a better choice for you

Reading the whitepaper is a needed action. We are not playing with toys here, we are investing real money into coins and tokens which could make you lose all your income anytime you join a scam project or a hype that might end at a moment. So, if you want to become a real investor or a real trader, read the whitepapers and learn from your faults.

Ico's that i think that has a potential is really good to read and if you are interested to invest then reading the ico's white paper is really required in order for you to avoid wasting your time on participating or money on investing.

Sometimes I read whitepaper but only glance never detail. In fact I often pass through it. Somehow, I feel it's too long-winded. Sometimes reality is not as good as a whitepaper.

Firstly I compare the assessments of rating resources and choose these companies, which hold leading positions simultaneously in several resources. Only after that, I start reading Whitepaper and learn more about the project!

Of course !! I always look at whitepapers every time I want to participate in the bounty or if I want to invest in the ICO, because I think that whitepaper is very important to know the ICO in the future.

Ofcourse i read. I do not think anyone will invest before I read it. If you are going to spend money on your pocket, you will definitely do enough research before you spend it. you do not give money to something you do not know what it is

The whitepaper is where you can get all the information you need for the project. So there's no doubt to read it
