Once again many thanks for all your replies.

edgycorner suggested I place an ESCROW in the "Service Section"

I am not too sure exactly where this is located.

I also have no idea of ho to setup an ESCROW.  Is there an official form I need to fill out, or do i just put the detail in a post?

Could someone advise me please.

Regards
Martin

this is one of the biggest risks of bitcoin, when bitcoin is lost no one is responsible. this will be difficult because for us how much bitcoin we have, it is worth it. then when we lose bitcoin, we will report to whom? no one will want to deal with the case.
This is a risk we must bear, if we lose some of our bitcoins, so we really should be able to secure our bitcoin, nowadays very many people want to have bitcoin, and very many people want to buy some bitcoin, we lose some of our bitcoin of course no one wants to be responsible.

Hi,

I am trying to find a company / Bounty Hunter to recover some BTC I had stolen.

Has anyone had any dealing with    www.darkwebsolutions.com  Huh?

I have been in contact with them and they are confident that they can get my BTC back, however they want $500 up front.

Naturally I am suspicious. Why not just include it in the 10% fee they take from the amount recovered.

Any help or alternative suggestions most welcome.

Take 10% from amount withdrawn, they will take all. But I think they are not capable of doing it an will take $500 and you will be fooled.

Before you can say yes to this, I think that you would have to first question their process and some customes that they already has business dealings with. Because as I am looking at this forum thread one thing is clare that we all concur that this is not to be trusted due to the nature of its site and the vagueness kf how it can be able to slove your problem

Oh no! That is not a good deal. Get away from it. It sounds pretty shady. That is not how it works. After all, the task is not as easy as it may sound to them. Recovering stolen Bitcoin is really a gargantuan task that is even close to impossible. How would they recover it, by stealing it from the thieves themselves? Let them prove that they can recover your Bitcoins first and then the payment will happen. But seal the certain amount first.  Good luck.

Never trust anyone in the internet. Every time you do a transaction, you need an escrow for it. Anyone who is charging you $500  up front specially shady websites like that is a scam. Be careful Smiley

There is no way you could recover your stolen btc. There are a lot of online wallet who frequently reminds their users to b responsible for their passwords. It's not advisable to always to online log ins.

If your BTC's are stolen it might be gone for good. Unless the culprit would be bothered by his conscience and give it back to you.

Now don't fall into another scam and have another transactions with darkweb. From the name of the site itself, aren't you suspiscious yet? LOL

Try looking for a thread on this forum, but as far as I know, there is none.

Don't fall for such scams. They obviously want your money and you'll get nothing in return. Sorry to break your heart but once btc is gone...it's gone for good. Next time try to be more careful when dealing with bitcoins to avoid such sad endings

I think that is clear scam. Why need to pay btc in order to joined bounty.? They will easily stolen your btc.

There is a project that pay btc but very few. In your case if your btc was stolen it couldn't be back forever.

the stolen bitcoin is just an omission for those of us who are too open to all your eth information to others. this is how the coin thieves work from all these bitcoin networks. and how about we who have bothered to participate in bonty each campaign ..

So, the amount stolen was 8 BTC from Binance Sad   (Unsurprisingly they didn't want to know)

Several Alt coins were converted in to 8 BTC and vanished right before my eyes. The whole process was over in about 5 seconds, so I suspect a BOT was on the loose.
The Binance part got my attention as it is an exchange I patronize. Are we beginning to experience that there now? OP, did you get to Support for complaint before seeking recovery outside? I feel Binance is a more reliable exchange but with this story now, I dont know.

I would not particularly trust. The truth is very suspicious that they ask for such a sum. Although there are different cases here my friend had the same situation and nothing was not deceived.

Bitcoind is too sophisticated for beginners, and there to store their miserable 0,007 is not too convenient, and even more so to store for the sake of it all the blocking, too expensive pleasure.

You do not need to invest every month. You throw money into the account. Specialists work with them. Your income is 10-20% for bitcoins per month. You can take profit every week. And you can reinvest ..

Ok, I am not saying that this is a scam, but you have to be careful. They are saying that they are tracing the funds on the

Blockchain and this can honestly be done by anyone with a Blockexplorer. What happens after they push the funds through a

mixer service? {this is what usually happens} It is not uncommon for people to ask a "deposit" ...because once people get

their money, they are reluctant to pay for the service, but then this must be in escrow too.
