Binance is down for 12 hours according to twitter for system upgrade.
No email to the users letting us know they were shutting down.
Seems kinda abrupt. Hope it really is just maintenance.

Its understandable, since Binance is having many traders signup lately. Maintenance is necessary in order to serve us better. Just bear with them. Binance is an emerging exchanges that is becoming popular already,hope this is temporary.

I'm always worried when exchanges shut down abruptly like this but most of the time it's nothing and just really maintenance.

Binance grows rapidly and it can abrupt any exchange if they got that kind of pace for new users.

It seems that Binance's servers are having some problems, and now they're synchronizing all the exchange data from the standby server, so it takes a little bit of time to wait a little bit.

sources from China said Binance is trying to limit the users from withdrawing coins as the exchange doesn't have enough at the moment.

Follow the CEO of Binance twitter account for the latest updates on this situation.  https://twitter.com/cz_binance  It looks like Binance will need another 10 hours to resolve this situation.  He did open the exchange up for 30 minutes so people can withdraw orders.

It's just maintenance don't worry. Here is the last news from Binance twitter:
"Still waiting on data copy, it will take a while, another 10 hrs at the current estimate.  Due to the unexpected length of time, we will allow 30 mins for people to withdraw orders before trading resumes when system is back."

I agree, I think this is only temporary, due to maintenance to cover the errors that occur on the server. this should be done frequently for the repair and convenience of the traders.

There is no doubt with the size of exchange like Binance need for frequent site maintenance but we should not forget what happens to Kraken recently when they went offline for days because they want to upgrade their server. I hope they would be back online soon

server is not a god. they also need to update the data and refresh the data. This is useful for smooth performance in the system. Usually they check every transaction, whether there is a weakness or not. but before the binance tells you. have you secured your coins that it is safe? we can not predict bugs or any kind of binary system error what it is

Don't worry!Binance is huge exchange and all servers always needs periodic maintenance. But never hold all of your portfolio on any exchange.

I liked the design of the site as it is very simple and user friendly. Also the features are good and keep it simple is the motto for them it seems. Yes at present it is down and hopefully all the services should be soon restored and everyone can start using the exchange like before.

Just relax.. No need to fear, they are upgrading the system and we wait until maintenance is complete.

Nobody beats Binance so far in terms of speed and convenience. It's as fast as running the trade on your local PC. Deals are settled instantly. Hopefully Binance and keep its performance and security.
