whether the rules about merit can change?
Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

I think not, because merit system is functioned to improve the quality of the members.
As far as I know, we just need to improve how our posts can benefit other members and have a good or new education or information.
And I'm also aware that there are still many things that need to be fixed.

It will only be changed if it actually requires changing, likely tweaking some of the the ways/amounts that users can distribute depending on how the sources are coping and identifying good quality posts. The system might not be perfect but, seems to be better than any other system that was implemented before.

Why don't you throw in some suggested changes? Sure, the system "can" change but why should it?

whether the rules about merit can change?
why not, if the change is needed for the better in the future
why do you asking a change, do you feel frustrated to get it?
I suggest you don't discuss this just a wast of time , you better think how to get it. according to existing rules !
if you want a change give a good idea that is useful for this forum, Let those who are competent here take care of it.
success for you

Only a glider hacker could only exploit such potential loophole in the merit system, and I doubt someone would spend time finding a ways to enter in the glitch.

so far I think this is the most compelling rule to fight against alt account, not to mention how much sMerits oneself could only spend.

Was a bit confused by the glider hacker portion, you are most likely referring to a black hat hacker https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_hat

If are asking about the decision being taken back, there are very less chances of that happening. Expect more harsh decisions in future if this is not able to combat the spam on the forum.
